### 1/5 — Disappointing paywall — needs a free trial before asking for $40/year

Charging $40 upfront without a 7-day free trial or even a watermarked preview of my own photos is completely out of step with the market.

Apps like Remini let you test the AI on your own pictures first so you know what you’re paying for. AI portrait outputs are hit-or-miss depending on the user, and forcing people to blindly commit to an annual subscription just to see if the technology works for them feels like a trap.

Give users a 3 to 7-day trial or a few free standard renders. Until then, it’s hard to recommend spending $40 sight unseen.

$40 to start…membership includes 240 credits…but you need 250 to get your pics…you have to pay an additional $6.99 for the picks…and you only get 10 pics. Not worth it!
