I’ve tried a few different apps. Muse seemed good in the beginning. Lots of templates to use and you can make content fast. Lately , after I upload and adjust I’ll have black out spots in the template and it won’t download. I pay for an annual membership. It’s not cheap. Waste of money on this app. ### 1/5 — Charging after free trial was cancelled *2026-08-11* Could you please explain why you suddenly charged me AFTER I cancelled free trial? I definitely did not subscribe, however I received an invoice two days after deleting the app and cancelling the trial. UPD. I cancelled the trial within a couple of hours after installing the app, so it was well within the trial period. Apple refunded me, although I’m yet to receive the money. Everything looks perfect in the app, but after exporting, some clips disappear and others are repeated or replaced 😕 I’ve tried exporting many times and duplicating the project but it keeps happening. It’s really frustrating after spending so much time editing. I only activated the subscription because it clearly advertised a 3-day free trial. I did not intend to purchase an annual subscription, and the charge came as a complete surprise. I am a student and cannot afford such an expensive subscription. I contacted Apple for a refund, but my request was denied, leaving me in a very difficult financial situation. I canceled the subscription and they charged my account either way. ### 1/5 — Nothing is free *2026-08-06, version 10.0* Is there any template that’s free on this app?? Because everytime I click on one it’s says that I have to subscribe. Was mich allerdings sehr geärgert hat: Ich habe das 3-tägige Probeabo für 0 € abgeschlossen und die App innerhalb dieses Zeitraums ausprobiert. Trotzdem wurden mir plötzlich 29,70 € abgebucht. Das Geld habe ich zwar über meine Bank zurückbekommen, allerdings wurde meine Karte aus Sicherheitsgründen gesperrt und ich muss nun auf eine neue Karte warten – also jede Menge unnötige Rennerei. Für mich ist das daher leider kein wirklich kostenloses Probeabo. Wer bereit ist, direkt dafür zu bezahlen, bekommt meiner Meinung nach eine gute App. Beim Probeabo würde ich aber definitiv vorsichtig sein. ### 1/5 — Misleading Free Trial — Charged ¥8,000 Immediately *2026-08-22* I signed up because the purchase screen clearly showed “Use Free Trial” turned on, “3-day free trial,” and “¥8,000/year.” However, instead of receiving a 3-day free trial, I was charged ¥8,000 immediately. Apple later told me that I was not eligible for the free trial because I had used a Muse trial in the past. I understand that eligibility may be limited. My issue is that the app still clearly displayed the free trial at the time of purchase. If I was not eligible, the app should not have shown “3-day free trial” or made it look like I would be charged only after the trial period. I contacted both Apple and the developer, but Apple referred me to the developer regarding the app display, while the developer referred me back to Apple regarding billing and refunds. This subscription flow is extremely misleading. Please clearly show users when they are NOT eligible for a free trial before they confirm an ¥8,000 annual purchase. ### 1/5 — Subscription *2026-08-20, version 10.1* My subscription was ending on 17 Aug, next payment should be deducted on 18 Aug, however they have deducted my money on 17 Aug, for which I had cancelled my subscription ### 1/5 — Scammy *2026-08-14, version 10.0* No option to cancel free trial on app. I had to do it via my Apple ID in settings. ### 1/5 — Thieves *2026-08-12, version 10.0* I signed up for what was presented as a three day free trial. I was shocked to receive the annual charge to my account a half hour later. In addition to misleading me through a not free trial, imagine the audacity of Apple to tell me that this app and the purchase is not eligible for a refund. Now I’m out $70 that was not budgeted for. Also want to let people know that the reels that they provide do not change monthly. They have the same stuff they just change the month and maybe some of the music or the emojis. But the pro version that I got scammed for is no different than the 14.99 version that’s available.
