You have forty minutes. You spend thirty-five of them scrolling. Muse doesn't hand you a longer list. It asks a few questions, chooses one film or one series, and asks you to sign for it. THE RITUAL Movie or series. A genre, an era, an origin, a length. Fate turns once and stops on a single title — no grid, no second-guessing. You sign with your finger, and the pact is sealed. THE PACT One promise at a time. Keep it, and the next one opens. Every promise you keep enters the Archive with its date and your signature, and your streak grows by a day. SERIES, HONESTLY A six-hour series and a 200-episode one are not the same promise. Muse asks for the whole thing on the short ones and the first episode on the long ones — then asks a single question: did you carry on? WATCH WITH SOMEONE Open a table and share the code. Nothing is chosen until everyone has signed. Then fate draws once, in front of all of you. SEASONS Every month brings a theme — six countries in six nights, and so on. An invitation, not a rule. FREE The whole ritual, the Archive, streaks, the monthly and yearly recap, two-person pacts, cloud backup, widgets, and an archive you can export as a Letterboxd-ready file. Titles and synopses come in your language too, not only the interface. A DRAW, NOT A VERDICT When you watch with someone, fate now draws in front of you: two reels, side by side, stopping on one title. SERIES, MORE HONESTLY Refinement gained two questions only a series can answer: does it end, and who made it. THE SCENE, NOT ONLY THE POSTER Stills now appear on the cast page, the share card, the widgets, the year card and in the Archive. THE RITUAL, TIGHTER The continue button, the series length question and the Archive were all reworked. You can also step back out of a shared pact before it is sealed. ### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-04 The largest release since Muse arrived. Series join the ritual, the ritual gains a step, and the free limit changes shape. SERIES Choose a series the way you choose a movie. Home screen widget Your streak and the last film fate chose, without opening the app. A card worth sharing Share your streak and your badges as a single image. Search the archive Find a film once your archive outgrows a single screen. Pause notifications Take a quiet break whenever you want one. Language Your language choice now survives a restart, and all nine languages are fully translated. Film synopses arrive in the language you picked. Your archive is safe Cloud backup now works reliably, and anything recorded before it did is restored once. Archives left behind by older versions are recovered too.
