I usually pay for scores to get the midi and go, however because of how the app is structured, I wasn’t given sufficient information about the score and realised after purchasing that there was no midi file, only a pdf. Now I have to find a pdf to midi converter. This is ridiculous. Why am I unable to view ALL scores and listen to it being played before purchasing. I usually don’t have an issue with the app because I would never use it because of the constant ridiculous pop ups portraying the apps greediness but if I’m gonna pay for any score on the app, I should at least be given full information about what I’m paying for instead, requesting me to pay and only getting that information after payment. DO NOT USE THIS IM BEGGING YOU ### 1/5 — Bad Customer Service *2026-08-25, version 2.14.44* I was recommended MuseScore by a colleague and went to check it out. I clicked on the “free trial” and a pop up with Back to School Specials came up, so I chose the plan I thought would benefit me the most after what I thought was the free trial. However, I was charged $119 for the app, never got a free trial and it turns out that the app isn’t even compatible with the project I was working on. I tried to cancel and get an immediate refund after realizing I did NOT get a free trial and Apple refused to refund me even though I haven’t used the app. Additionally, MuseScore’s policy is they aren’t responsible for Apple purchases. I feel the “back to school specials” were misleading and false advertising.
