That was my first mistake. 😂 I first tried purchasing tickets through the official website using multiple credit cards from multiple banks. Nothing worked. So, thinking the app might work better, I actually downloaded it specifically to try purchasing my tickets there. Spoiler alert: it did not. The app wouldn’t even let me change the quantity of tickets I wanted to purchase. At one point I was so committed to making this work that I said, “Fine, I’ll buy ONE ticket at a time.” Still declined. 😂 I have rarely worked this hard to give someone my money. If an international tourist is trying to purchase tickets to visit Türkiye’s museums, accepting international credit cards and allowing us to select the number of tickets feels like a pretty reasonable starting point. One star for consistency, though, the bad reviews were completely accurate. ### 1/5 — Total chaos *2026-08-05* Their is no decent organizing. Couldn’t scan the QR code. Just kept getting error messages. Scanner on camera worked with other apps/QR codes so definitely an app problem. ### 1/5 — Only for Turkish citizens and residents *2026-03-10, version 1.9.5* Everywhere we go we are told to download this app by the people at the ticket office. I’m sure it’s very good, but you can’t actually access it without a Turkish ID number.
