You can upgrade to the pro version for $9 but that only includes 300 species which is not even close to being useful. If the free version contained 300 species and the pro version contained good, reliable information on several thousand species, $8.99 would be a great deal. With 300 species, the pro version isn’t useful regardless of price. Too bad, because they layout and features otherwise seems pretty good as a reference to accompany a good photo ID app in the field. ### 2/5 — NewbieAtIt *2023-10-19* I’m giving this two stars mostly for effort and future potential. It’s difficult to navigate without a set of instructions. I expected to be able to download a picture and the app give me the best match, as my plant & bug identifier apps do. Instead, it’s left up to the opinions of other people using the app, which can be all over the map. IT NEEDS A PHOTO IDENTIFIER - BOTH NEWLY TAKEN AND FROM OUR LIBRARIES! Der Pilzführer lite der hier zum Installieren heruntergeladen werden kann bietet absolut null Möglichkeit irgendetwas sinnvolles mit der app anzufangen. Dreister, unbrauchbarer Schrott der offenbar einzig dazu geschaffen wurde, User zum Kauf der pro/Version zu verleiten. Schade dass man keine null Sterne vergeben kann. Fehlt nur noch, die pro-Version nur als Abo anzubieten: das würde der Unzulänglichkeit die Krone aufsetzen. Sehr ärgerlich - aber zum Glück gibt es ja Alternativen und Leite wie mich, die andere Benutzer darauf hinweisen wenn eine app Zeitverschwendung ist. Jeder kriegt was er verdient hat.
