The main problem is that there is a alarm that goes off whatever time you set it on the clock, which you can only do manually, but that’s as far as you can get with editing it, you can’t edit the sound or the volume, and there doesn’t seem to be any way to turn it off. I have to keep unplugging the whole thing for it to stop. I’ve deleted all of the wake alarms on the app because they don’t work, but it still goes off. The volume of the alarm is also a big problem because it’s obscurely loud. If there is any way to fix this that would be very helpful. Website: Oddly Minimalist *2026-06-18, version 1.1.5* The G music lamp product itself is not bad at all, insofar as it works as intended and claimed. The speakers are decent, not the highest quality but above average given their size. The lights are very good with adjustable speed and brightness with many different preset options to choose from. The app is ok. Having the owners manual right on the app very useful, especially for anyone like myself who may or may not misplace such things. I’ve not had any issue controlling the lamp through the app. However, I do have a very concerning issue that has only very recently become apparent! Somehow, someone has connected to my lamp without my knowledge. For the past few days, my wife and I have noticed unknown or unfamiliar notification alert sounds from the lamp. As well as music that neither of us are familiar with. Also, the sounds of whoever has connected with our lamp watching videos that are of the adult category shall we say. Nothing major, we just laugh about it and unplug it for a while. What has concerned us is our lamp picked up a call from another person to whoever has connected to our lamp. As well live in an apartment building, I’m sure one of our neighbors has connected unknowingly to our lamp. What I need to know is, how do I take care of this issue? Do I need to reset our lamp? How is that accomplished? The booklet that comes with the light explains ALOT of the issues in some of these reviews Ok, so my daughter’s light did have chirping birds every night at midnight😂 it became a joke each night. However, after a couple of attempts I discovered how to turn them off and all had been fine since. You have to click the button at the top of alarm page and it will make the clock disappear and turn off. There are like 250 light sequences to choose from.
