Buds = expensive

Why a simple equalizer program should cost so much I have no idea, at $2.50 a week for life! Yet the buds were touted as “the best etc” if they are so good why do you have to pay the manufacturer for the privilege of useing them. I would gladly pay $20 as a lifetime user of the software but not every year or month…… for what exactly?
