It allows you to create practice sessions based on the practice items you have added to the default categories. There is no access to the timer - at least I couldn’t find it on the free version. I’m not paying if I can’t even trial the free one. ### 1/5 — No start button *2023-02-09, version 2.4.0* Could not find a start button to actually time a practice session. ### 5/5 — Changed my opinion *2020-02-18, version 2.4.0* Purchased the paid version, didn’t notice the lite version. I didn’t understand the help and the video was unclear. Anyway I have now figured out what I was doing wrong and it meets my needs. Would like to just manually log time against an instrument without having to go into sub categories. I did get a refund but I will repurchase. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2019-09-23* Garbage ### 4/5 — Good, some issues *2019-03-14, version 2.1.1* This is overall a pretty good app and fits all my needs as a student. However, there is one issue that could be fixed. In the settings, there is a “run in background” option that allows the timer to keep running if you exit out of the app to do something else like access a recording app. I did this once and recorded for maybe an hour, and when I went back to the practice log, the timer had closed and I lost all my time. This has happened on several occasions, and I have lost hours of practice time on the app. Because this is the lite version, I can’t manually log my time.
