### 5/5 — My go-to for recording practice

*2024-12-16*

I’ve been using this app to record my practice for a few years now. It just works. The only thing I would improve is the syncing, I don’t get a proper copy of my data on my iPhone, only on the iPad. Otherwise, I use it religiously.

### 2/5 — Would love a simple timer!

*2024-08-28*

Beautiful app, but puts your focus on playing with tech rather than an instrument. Would love to have a simple timer where after two clicks I’m focusing on music and the app tracks the time.

### 5/5 — Great

*2024-02-09*

Great, great product. Very flexible. Very stable.

### 4/5 — Amazing app

*2022-11-20, version 2.5.0*

This app is really amazing for helping organize and focus practice!

There are a few bug issues like when I set times, some of the tasks squish down where I can’t really read the name.

### 3/5 — Good, but could be better

*2022-06-11, version 2.5.0*

I appreciate that you can put in a subcategory but I wish it weren’t required. You just don’t always need one, and I’m struggling to use the app efficiently.

### 4/5 — Almost great…

*2022-03-02*

Very good, I like it. Gives structure to a practice session and stops me indulging the parts I like!

What would be great would be a (switchable) sonic alert as you complete your allocated time for each practice period, I can’t believe it hasn’t got this. Without it, I have to keep looking at my phone, which can be annoying when the periods are very short, such as for a scale.

### 5/5 — Very good!

*2021-09-17*

This is a really useful app, allowing you to set up different practice plans for different instruments. It’s very easy to use, intuitive to set up, and works reliably and consistently well. My only grumble would be that, although it allows you to track time spent overall practising, it doesn’t enable you to see time spent practicing individual elements, which would be useful to know whether you are spending more time on one thing and not enough on another, for example. But in general it’s good, and probably the best available at the moment - it hasn’t been updated for quite some time now, and could do with some additional features to make it great.

### 3/5 — Great effort but missing absolutely REQUIRED feature

*2021-09-06, version 2.5.0*

Unless I’m missing it in settings somewhere, there is no ability to edit the time of your practice. Right out of the gate, I had several times where I forgot to pause the app when called away from my practice and came back to a 20 minute time for a practice item and no way to edit it for the actual amount of time. Without this ability, I can’t really recommend the app. I’m using the paid version…

### 4/5 — Good App, but

*2021-03-11*

I really like the way that this app works, but it crashes a lot when trying to create new categories:

### 3/5 — Almost there

*2021-02-22, version 2.5.0*

The sub-categories make this work for classical music. My cat accidentally paused the timer on one movement of a Beethoven Sonata. Sometimes I also forget to turn off the timer but know when I quit. I could correct the record. I only gave this app 3 stars because I just started using it. I will use it for several days and then weigh in again.
