It usually does. Other than that, it is my favorite!! ### 5/5 — Works great! *2018-09-06, version 2.1.1* Nothing to complain about. It works like a charm Thanks for you hard work keeping this app fixed over the years! Edit on 12/6/2017: it works like a charm again! Thanks! Edit on 12/2/2017: after the latest update, it plays about a second of the song’s beginning, then jumps to a random part of the song. It’s a bit awkward, but the game works again. Edit on 11/25/2017: I’ve been using this app for years, but I think the newest iOS update broke it. After playing the first song, every subsequent song starts playing at the beginning, rather than playing at a random part of the song. ### 4/5 — Classic Music Quiz Game! *2018-08-06* I’ve been waiting for something like this that nearly rivals the original iPod Classic game...this is the closest I’ve seen! The only critique is I cannot find where to choose the number of questions in the normal quiz mode. Still, a few tweaks would make this an easy Five-star! Three recommendations: 1) add “Date” to the list of quiz types...the original had it and music buffs will appreciate it. 2) add “Album Cover” to the list of quiz types...a great visual addition. 3) enable selecting any combination of quiz types (for example, a person could quiz on just songs and artists but not albums). Great app...keep developing! ### 4/5 — Newest ios release causes app to crash. *2018-03-30* Love this app. But for some reason the app crashes after I updated to the newest iOS release. Literally the only app that lets you guess from your own music library. My only complaint would be that each round is only 10 songs. I would love the option to select how many, including an unlimited option. Performance, appearance, and ease of use are all spectacular. Thanks for playing! ### 3/5 — Really great, but filter doesn’t work. *2022-05-06* I loved the Lite version and wanted to try out the paid version to see how well I knew a specific artist, only to find the filter option doesn’t work. It uses the selected artist for the first song, but doesn’t after that. A little disappointing since that’s why I paid for the full version, but still fun anyway! ### 3/5 — close to very good *2019-09-26* Game needs to be customizable to number of rounds in a game. Needs customization to vary the number of choices available to determine which is correct to help with difficulty. Needs a mode where it plays a song and you must pick which album cover is the correct one for the song. Then it becomes 5 star all the way. Old ios music games had all this and more but sadly aged out due to updates in ios. ### 3/5 — Good but Glitchy and Feature-Light *2019-02-10* This game delivers on the core premise, but it falls a bit short in a few areas. It has all of the basic options but lacks a few that would be nice, like round lengths or longer/shorter score timers. It also has a noticeable lag between each song, which hampers the flow of getting into the game. Finally, I’ve encountered a glitch several times where the round begins with a few seconds of silence, and then the score timer jumps to halfway and a song not in the selections begins playing. This game really doesn’t have far to go to be excellent. One or two more features and some performance tweaks/bug fixes are all it would take, as the core of the game really is solid. ### 4/5 — Great, but not as good as iQuiz *2023-03-30* This is really fun. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because iQuiz, which was free and included on the iPod Classic, is sooo much better, varying the types of questions and challenges and featuring a fun gameshow-style interface. It’s ridiculous that decades later we have to settle for a much blander and more monotonous game. That being said, this is still very fun and totally worth the $.99, hence the four stars. ### 4/5 — Love It, but the filter isn’t working *2021-11-04* I know the option to choose which songs you play with used to work, because there was a time I literally chose one artist and it only brought his songs up when playing the game. Now I have to use my whole library even after extensive filtering to play differently. It’s still fun, but I’d love to be able to filter out random karaoke tracks, etc. again. It seems like it’s probably a glitch that can hopefully be fixed. ### 4/5 — Great but needs a couple fixes *2021-04-04* It’s great to have this game and have the option to disable the iCloud music - making it the closest thing to the old Music Quiz game from the classic iPods. Couple things though: first, we need the option for more than 10 rounds - maybe 20 or 50, or even the option to set our own. Also, why do some songs have to play twice in the same round, especially when we have a ton of songs on our devices? That’s unnecessary and it definitely needs a fix there. Otherwise, this is a great game that I’m pretty happy to have, especially to kill time.
