That said, the subscription model feels completely unnecessary—this is essentially a static app that doesn’t rely on AI, servers, or heavy syncing. I’d gladly pay a one-time fee of $10 or so instead. My biggest gripe, aside from the subscription issue, is the lack of microphone support. It would be much more useful if you could practice with your actual instrument instead of just tapping on the screen. However, there is one feature that would really take this app to the next level. I would really love to be able to program in a particular rhythm — not a full song length, but a few measures — so that I can drill tricky rhythms in songs I’m reading more effectively. This way I’d have some way to hear where I’m going wrong, with a “teacher” that knows when I play it correctly. Overall it’s a great app and I’d recommend it for anyone struggling with reading rhythms. ### 2/5 — Laggy *2025-10-02, version 3.3.9* Laggy and basically unusable on an iPhone 14 Pro. Apparently this is optimized for the newest gear: if you don’t have it, save your money. They have similar drills on musicca.com, and they’re free. Needs a CALIBRATION TOOL or better yet an option to widen the accepted input timings. Но при продлении в очередной раз подписки обнулился счётчик ударных дней. Написала в поддержку - мне сказали, что я сама такая красивая не продлила ударный день. Думаю - ладно и на старуху бывает проруха. Проверила следующий месяц - и опять при продлении обнулился счётчик. Снова написала в поддержку. Написали - будем разбираться. Прошёл месяц и опять обнуление. Сил никаких уже нет. I came upon MRT and it changed my guitar playing forever. Finally felt comfortable with rhythm, can sing over chord playing and enjoy guitar. How did I get there? Playing with this app 5 minutes a day for a few weeks. It’s great because you can do it anywhere, anytime.
