Se si è appassionati di musica, libri, film e si vuole dare un senso ed un ordine alla propria collezione, Simone è una garanzia. Le app hanno tutto quello che si può desiderare e, spesso, molto di più. Music Tracker reperisce rapidamente qualsiasi (e, ad oggi, devo veramente sottolineare il qualsiasi) titolo si possa cercare, fornendo una serie di risultati tra i quali si può trovare esattamente quello desiderato o quello che ci si avvicina di più. L’editing manuale permette di modificare tutti i dati più importanti (a cominciare dalla cover per continuare con note, recensioni, ecc.). Offre varie possibilità di ordinamento della collezione e la sincronizzazione iCloud è eccellente. Devo obbligatoriamente spendere due parole anche sulla disponibilità di Simone, che non solo risponde in tempo praticamente reale, ma altrettanto in tempo reale recepisce e, se possibile, esaudisce le richieste degli utenti. Ab und zu verschwinden aber mal ein paar Einträge oder der Name des Künstlers verschwindet. Da sucht man dann erstmal ein Backup bei dem es noch gepasst hat. Neuester Hit auch die Sortierung der Künstlerliste…da werden auch Bandnamen nach Nachname, Vorname sortiert…denn wer kennt sie nicht, die legendären Sabbath Black und Zeppelin Led. **Developer response:** Danke dir für deine ausführliche Bewertung und für die ehrlichen Hinweise. Natürlich ist es nicht beabsichtigt, dass Bandnamen auf diese Weise „verdreht“ werden. Das werde ich mit dem nächsten Update korrigieren. Bezüglich des Problems, dass Einträge oder Künstlernamen verschwinden: Das sollte definitiv nicht passieren. Danke dir nochmal für dein Feedback und deine Unterstützung. ### 2/5 — Great interface, no real free version *2025-03-27* I really like the interface, I don’t have a huge collection of music and the free versions limitations still make it basically unusable for me. You can only set up one space — so if you want to have a section for titles you own and titles you want to own, you need the paid version. The paid version isn’t crazy expensive ($15/yr, $50 lifetime) but frankly, it’s a lot of money for something that I can do in something like Notion just as easily, or for free in Discogs. Would probably pay a subscription or one time if it weren’t so expensive for what this is. And honestly, this would probably be a much more popular app if you lowered the pricing or even made it functionally free with some paid features for more serious users. Not really sure I understand the rationale behind the pricing structure. Even just including for free users, a basic “my library” “wish list” and then making additional spaces a premium feature would make more sense to me. Altogether a great app, but I probably won’t use it for these reasons if I’m being honest. **Developer response:** Thanks for your thoughtful review and for taking the time to explain your point of view, I really appreciate it. I completely understand the comparison with tools like Notion or Discogs. The philosophy behind Music Tracker is a bit different. It’s not meant to be a general productivity tool or a social database, but a focused, privacy-first app designed specifically for organizing and exploring your own music collection. Everything is stored locally or in your iCloud account, with no tracking, no analytics and no external services collecting your data. Features like Spaces, automatic online search, metadata, statistics, widgets, smart lists and iCloud sync are all built specifically for this purpose, so the app can give you a polished, native experience across iPhone, iPad and Mac without depending on third party platforms. As for pricing, I try to keep a balance that allows me to maintain and improve the app without ads or selling user data. Offering unlimited features for free would simply make the project unsustainable in the long run, especially since this is a one-person indie app. The free version is there to let you try the core experience, while the Pro version unlocks the full set of tools for people who really want to get the most out of their library. Great in theory, obviously not beta tested. Purchased to catalouge and store cds in places (storage boxes, shelfs, Racks etc) like an old girlfriend, looks pretty, but broken. Once entered in, the menu drop down to move to a new box or space. Then I try to email support and all that happens, my very used chrome browser opens. I assume they use mailto: covention. Maybe its me Im on a Mac. Mittlerweile bin ich so glücklich über die tolle App die in ihrer Vielfältigkeit unbeschreiblich ist. Vielen Dank an das Entwicklerteam und toll das es immer wieder Neuerungen gibt. Nicht zu vergessen das auch weiterhin an der Weiterentwicklung der App gearbeitet wird. Für jeden der irgendwann den Überblick über seine gesammelten Vinyl’s verloren hat ist dieses Programm / diese App unverzichtbar. Besonders ist, durch die Cloud geführte Struktur, das man immer sein aktuelles Vinylarchiv verfügbar hat, sei es auf dem PC, Smartphone oder auf dem Tablet. Des weiteren ein Automatischen BackUp gibt wodurch das bereits angelegte Archiv auf einem persönlich festgelegtes Ziellaufwerk gesichert wird. I was very impressed with Book Tracker and I’m equally as impressed with Music Tracker. I did a lot of research before committing to this App, as I wanted to get it right. I have a lot of LPs and CDs and only wanted to go through the pain of importing these, just the once. Because there are so many ways to personalise the App to your own specific taste, it did take me a little time to get familiar with using it. But now that I’ve invested that time, I believe the App rewards you with what I feel is almost a bespoke user experience. The way it links into Discogs to obtain the metadata for your LP or CD is excellent as well. Also as an Apple user I like the GUI display. The backup facility is good and should be taken advantage of too. It is also worth mentioning the App support. I have had, on two or three occasions, reason to email support and have found it be excellent. It is quick, professional and it’s patently obvious that the user experience is core to the companies ethos. And as an ex IT Manager who appreciates good technical support, this alone is worth a lot. Highly recommended. Music Tracker does everything I want it to do and syncs to my iphone perfectly. The app responds very quickly and accuratly when I need to enter a new cd or lp and the ability to edit some of the text fields makes it work well for my need. One minor popint, I do wish I could eliminate some of the genres that I'll never use but keep coming up. FOLK,WORLD,COUNTRY as one genre does not fit for me at all and each time it pops up for a new entry I have to delete it from the genres list. I also do not quite understand what SPACES is all about. Perhaps I'll figure that out at some point. (have since figured this out) Also, Since my initial review, I've discovered the ability to scan barcodes with my phone, and this saves hours of searching through an online catalog for the exact album. this feature alone makes MUSIC TRACKER well worth it for me. ### 5/5 — Super Ersatz für Delicious Library 3 *2025-11-20* Ich war seit langem auf der Suche nach einem Ersatz für DL3, nachdem diese App leider nicht mehr weiter entwickelt wurde. Mit Musik Tracker habe ich einen super Ersatz dafür gefunden. Design ist auch dem aktuellen Apple Apps angepasst. Daten-Import aus DL3 via CSV hat grundsätzlich auch sehr gut geklappt, musste aber viele Datensätze manuell noch einmal nachbearbeiten, was MT aber sehr gut unterstützt. ### 5/5 — Very please with purchase *2025-11-06* The app works well for what I wanted which is to catalog and search my CDs and Records. Manuell oder online lassen sich die Scheiben einfach erfassen. Die Suche nach Titel und Interpret funktioniert gut.
