### 1/5 — Don't waste your time

*2014-05-14*

Seriously, if the ads don't turn you off, the GUI and overall functionality will either frustrate you enough to throw your expensive Ipad against the wall or worse. The ability to use this as a synth let alone a stupid app that makes pretty designs is far from reached. I don't review a ton and when I do the app is really bad or really good, it's really bad this time. No instructions, stupid sounds and no simple way to even understand what the developer was thinking. Don't waste your time.

### 1/5 — ?

*2013-11-23, version 3*

Unless I'm missing the point. This is a waste if time.

### 3/5 — Crashing more than it should...

*2020-04-24, version 20*

I've had the app for ages, but the latest update causes it to crash lots. Double tapping the icons on the bottom of the screen will likely cause it to crash.

Also there is a great deal of audio popping going on. Needs to be sorted as running this app on an iPad Pro 11", should not cause crackling or popping in the audio.

### 4/5 — Psychodelic Fun!

*2014-05-30, version 3*

Pretty much as described really. Imagine a 1950s polyphonic theremin mixed with a modern delay. Expect some difficulties making changes to the sound and the app crashing! I'm sure one could find a use for it - perhaps as a method for enhancing the consumption of illegal substances? Very quirky but enjoyable.

### 4/5 — Interesting and cool app

*2014-01-11*

This is a cool and fun app , some can use this as a serious instrument. It is for certain types . If you can cook with a recipe and measuring tools in front of you, this not for you. This thing invites you to dive in and get what you can out of it. If you don’t have exponential inteliigence it ain’t gonna work for you.

### 4/5 — A strange and wonderful little app

*2013-10-19*

A fun and bizarre experiment. It has a somewhat opaque interface, but that somehow makes it more charming. My kids love it!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-12-28*

I love this app but I don’t know how to change the settings on the bottom

### 5/5 — Please update with 64 bit support

*2017-04-01*

I love this app, however I am tired of getting notifications that the app needs to be updated because it is slowing down my device. Developer can you please update? Thanks!!!

### 5/5 — Unique and quite good

*2016-05-31*

I really enjoy this app, but would enjoy it even more with audio out (AudioBus or IAA)
Perhaps available for $ as an IAP in an update?
I think that would really expand the appeal of this almost perfect app.

### 5/5 — GeoShred for minimalists

*2016-02-26*

Plopped my money down for GeoShred and quickly became overstimulated by the endless combinations of digitally modeled amps and effects that--so far at least--all sound like I should be playing Metallica riffs. Today I randomly stumble upon this dusty little app. The playing interface is suspiciously familiar and I wonder if the GeoShred peeps might owe this dev a few beers at least.

There may be no labels on the parameters, but I already have a swampy custom preset that could very well keep me and the neighbors awake all night. Funky in the very best of ways.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Mr

*2015-04-04, version 3*

Fantastic synth and I love it.

### 5/5 — Wonderful sounds.

*2015-04-01, version 3*

Great sounds, easy to play.

It's a musical instrument - not very difficult to understand.

### 5/5 — Wow

*2014-10-30*

Ok so you need to take longer than one minute to figure it out. But do that, or don't. This is super expressive and musical. The layout allows easy chord structures and is very intuitive because the octaves are highlighted as you play. The glissando and sliding between note pitch is super great. The delay is awesome. So good.
