For the tens of thousands of Lakefield College School alumni, their families, talent scouts, and the broader public, Musicals @ LCS is a complete reference to the long and still growing history of musical theatre at The Grove.

The team of students who built this app are proud to surface the hard work of their peers who bring our musical productions to life.

Here's what you can expect in Musicals @ LCS right now:

• Use the Photo Wall to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of each production
• Review the musical numbers from each production
• Relive the laughs and fun of each song with 30-second previews and links to renditions on Apple Music 
• Browse and search through character, cast, crew, musician, and faculty profiles and biographies
• Build your own list of favourite characters, cast members, crew members, musicians, or faculty
• Share a direct link to any detail page out of the app with others, or, a PDF rendering of that same information
• Powerful search across all productions to see a person's contributions over time
• Freely navigate from cast member details to character details to a summary of all contributions by a given person
• Review the show and director notes from each production
• Explore a super-hi-resolution image of the entire cast and crew from each production
• Enjoy stunning photography
• Now includes information for all nine productions co-directed by Rachel and Geoff Bemrose:

• The immersive Photo Wall feature surfaces the sights and sounds of a given musical, providing a new, non-linear way to learn about the contributions of everyone involved in a production – double-tap a photo in the photo wall to see details, and scroll within a lane to see more photos for a production.
• Our new widget shows a different character photo each day, right on your home screen!
• Improved search now means you can find contributors to a musical using names, production names, character names, character groups, position titles, instruments played, and more.
• Smoother pinch-to-zoom feature for viewing full cast and crew photographs.
• Optimized performance and reduced memory usage.
• You can now mark characters as favourites, as well as add favourites directly from search results.

• Minor bug fixes.

• New and improved photography for Bullets Over Broadway.
• Additional cast and crew biographies.
• When a performer portrays multiple characters within a given production, all characters are now correctly listed on the character detail view.

The latest and greatest and a blast from the past... now with all information from the 2024 production of Bullets Over Broadway, and the 2018 production of Damn Yankees!

Contributions from local community members are also now correctly attributed for all musical productions.
