Ich gestehe, dass es mir in der Menge der Möglichkeiten manchmal etwas zu viel ist. Sonst ist es aber eine übersichtliche und nützliche App. Hab die ganze Vinyl Sammlung erfasst und die paar CDs und schau, ob ich die Kassetten auch noch mit erfassen kann. Wünschenswert wäre noch eine Erkennung der Seriennummer der Schallplatte und nicht nur des Barcodes, da dieser bei den meisten alten Schallplatten nicht existiert. This is my new go-to for vinyl collecting but outside of just cataloging, some features would be cool to add like a random button that picks a record for you to listen to (Waxlogs has this and it’s something I’ve been using a lot lately). I have over 4000 pieces and when you are out finding new pieces for you collection this allows you to check if this is in your collection. The tagging allows for adding special tags such as autographed or damaged sleeve etc. I can not imagine being able to search around the world without this app. It pulls data from Discogs and allows you to search information that is not essential for every day needs. ### 5/5 — Parfaite *2026-02-13* J’adore cette application, très pratique. Then I found that it doesn’t sync between an iPad and an iPhone like Kindle syncs books. You have to do it through iCloud but that didn’t work for me. Just use Discogs; it’s a free app and it does the same thing! ### 1/5 — Probleme mit dem Synchronisieren der Bibliothek *2025-01-06* Ich habe per In App-Kauf MusicBuddy erworben, um meine umfangreiche Vinylsammlung (> 600 Schallplatten) zu verwalten und auf alle meine Apple Geräte (iMac, MacBook Air und iPhone) zu teilen. Dazu bietet sich, ganz Apple-like, die iCloud an, über die ich auch meine Kontakte, Termine und ein paar Daten synchronisiere. Leider funktioniert es mit dem Synchronisieren der Vinyl-Bibliothek nicht so, wie ich es von den anderen Apps gewohnt bin. Ich kontaktiere den App-Support, der auch anfänglich bemüht ist, mein Problem zu lösen. Ich befolge seine Ratschläge, doch es will sich kein Erfolg einstellen: Das Synchronisieren am iMac und MacBook Air funktioniert unzuverlässig und ich muss an den Geräten die Synchronisierung über die iCloud immer wieder neu einrichten. Auf meine letzte Misserfolgsmeldung reagiert der App-Anbieter mit dem Hinweis, ich möge Dropbox statt die iCloud nehmen. Danach hüllt er sich in Schweigen und ich stehe mit dem Problem alleine da. **Developer response:** We are truly sorry for this issue! Please note that iCloud sync works great normally, but when issues are arised it could be extremely difficult to resolve... Sometimes it even requires involving Apple Support. We wanted to save you the time consuming and sometimes frustrating task of resolving the iCloud issues. Therefore, our suggestion to you still is, switching to Dropbox sync. As already indicated, Dropbox is completely free and no knowledge of using it is required. It's just an online storage used behind the scenes to sync your devices, and it works great and most reliably. So once you setup the sync, you shouldn't be aware which sync service is actually being used. So if you don’t realize you already bought the paid app and upgrade to the pro features on this one, Apple won’t refund you for accidentally buying the upgrade. I want my money back. The search is great and if your stuff has any barcodes it comes up instantly. I can even send a PDF list to my friends. It also comes in handy when I’m at antique stores so I don’t get something I already have. It’s saved me 3 times already.
