As other reviewers have mentioned you can’t go back to your search when opening the product page. It takes you back to home page. However, if I’m in a search, such as effects, and scroll down and migrate to the 3rd or 4th page, and then select some to view, when you go back to your search page, it takes you back to the app home page. So then you have to jump through the hoops selecting your section, filters, then your page. If it’s just as easy for me to turn it off, it’s just as easy for them to add a “not now” button. I have stopped using the app, because it could not complete the basic functions needed. ### 3/5 — Reward points always = 0 *2024-01-12, version 2.4.8* Although I have over 6700 points my total available is always zero. Over the months I have talked to various customer service reps, etc and submitted “complaints on line all to no avail. Using the browser, my rewards are accurate. Using this app, I can’t apply reward discounts unless I call or use the browser - defeats the purpose of using this app. ### 1/5 — This App Doesn’t Work Well *2024-01-01, version 2.4.8* Let me preface this by saying I like the company and have ordered from them many times. I haven’t been able to place and order using the app on the 4 different occasions that I’ve tried. If you want to use the app to browse their inventory then it works just fine but don’t try to buy anything, it won’t let you. ### 3/5 — Bring back SDOTD app!! *2023-12-24, version 2.4.8* I’ve had the OLD stupid deal of the day app on my phone for years. It was orange. It’s an app you open, and it has the stupid deal of the day right there on one page. No other options.. super simple and perfect. I just updated to iOS 17 and the app doesn’t work any more :’( The musicians friend app is okay. Nothing incredible but it works. I miss being able to tap an app and just be able to see that deal though. But lets be real, their “deals” are only for high marked up garbage that no one wants. Most stuff people have interest in are literally 5% off. Annoying company ### 1/5 — Backorders *2023-11-10, version 2.4.8* How long will you keep back orders, I canceled many items with a year of backorder time, had gear in my shopping cart for over a year and still back ordered ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-09-26, version 2.4.8* This is: A) Guitar Center. Literally. GC owns them. B) Their deals are fraud. C) Buy anything and they will never stop calling, texting, or emailing regardless of settings. D) They report your purchases to the federal gov for some reason so they won't ever delete your data. Also, it’s a little more difficult to look up products than it is on the website. Only problem was that the only way to get past the screen and into the app was to press “Allow”. Not in to businesses that force you to allow them to intrude on your time at their whim. Used to be a decent on-line commerce app. Not on my phone. ### 1/5 — Disappointing experience *2024-08-18, version 3.0.5* I just downloaded the app. It was easy to navigate and add items to my cart. I stepped away for one hour, and everything had cleared from my cart when I came back to finish my purchase. I added everything again, but my cart cleared again in less than one hour. I don’t have the time or interest in working this hard to spend money with this company. Other apps save your cart for at least a few hours, so I will be shopping with them. ### 1/5 — Frustrating App *2024-08-05, version 3.0.5* The developers of the app have set it up to where you cannot highlight and copy text. This is annoying. What makes it frustrating is when the link on the tracking number doesn’t work, and then you cannot even highlight the text to copy and paste the tracking number. Poor decisions by the develop become unnecessary frustrations. This app is terribly Slow, unresponsive, and painful to use. It doesn’t sync correctly with your account either. I’ve notified support many times and they have done zero to fix it. There was no other option and no apparent way to get into the app without turning on notifications.
