I need to learn my sheet music skills from scratch and this is just what I need. Anytime I’ve a couple of free moments I just pull out my phone and polish my recognition speed. Only criticism is that I wish there was a mute sound effects button. The card riffle noise is especially irritating! ### 3/5 — Helpful, but needs some tweaks *2015-08-24, version 1.2.1* App is helpful in memorizing notes on staves; however, biggest complaint is the inability to silence sound effects. Should automatically disable sounds when vibrate switch is enabled. The pronunciation feature was helpful and the flash card-style interface is great for memorization. Highly recommended for newcomers to music notation. Thanks for the update! ### 4/5 — More cards expected *2012-08-16, version 1.0.0* The app works beautifully (especially once I realised there was a British version, which had the terms I knew) but I did expect there to be more cards in the selection. Even for somebody who doesn't know the terms, it would take no time at all to learn them and then there is no challenge or even a need to use the cards. More decks needed ASAP and I hope at no extra cost. After all, there is a wealth of material available in this field! It's all or nothing. I like to use this app to practice going to the note on my cello, so being able to scroll between cards hands-free would be pretty cool. I have made Flashcards up with drawings on my notebook cut them out etc (took me ages to do and that was just the table clef side of the theory) I Googled relevant apps and came across lots (either very fiddly or not what I needed etc) this does the job fantastically you can change the language to British or USA which is really helpful. The biggest benefit of this app is you can just go on it whenever suits even on your lunch break/waiting on the bus and quickly practice on a few Flashcards and put it back in your pocket no paper no hassle. 5 stars 🤩 ### 5/5 — Great app *2021-03-17, version 1.2.3* It’s really good functionality is there it’s not overflowing with features but it’s a well made app I recommend it. ### 5/5 — Divertido para Aprender *2020-05-15* Apresentado em formato de cartas de baralho. All my students that are using it are improving the reading super fast. It is always nice to have flash cards on the go. I find that the wording in the explanation has to sometimes be re-explained, but I think it helps understanding when you have to work through.
