## What is MusicToolKit?

MusicToolKit is a lightweight toolkit for musicians. Five essential tools in one app: metronome, tuner, tuning fork, recorder, and keyboard. Launch fast, use fast — simple yet professional. All features are free.

METRONOME
· Accurate clicks: beats are scheduled sample-by-sample directly into the audio engine, so timing stays rock-steady regardless of UI load or animations
· Accents, compound meters, and mixed meter chains
· Tempo markings on the slider (Largo to Presto), score-style time signature display

TUNER
· Built for a calm, stable readout: a volume gate, median filtering, and note-stability checks keep the display from jumping around while you tune
· Piano-roll-style scrolling graph visualizes your pitch over time
· Sensitivity control and input level meter

TUNING FORK
· Piano-layout note selector for intuitive picking
· Quick reference pitch selection (415–444 Hz)

RECORDER
· Dual level graph (peak + average): clipping warnings make distortion obvious, so you record at the right level
· Lock button prevents accidental taps while recording; standby metering works before you even start
· WAV / M4A, 44.1 kHz/16-bit and 48 kHz/24-bit
· Recordings are accessible directly from the Files app, with share-sheet export

KEYBOARD
· Simple tap-to-play keyboard
· Sine, square, triangle, and sawtooth waveforms

7 TEMPERAMENTS
Equal, Just Intonation, Pythagorean, Meantone, Werckmeister III, Kirnberger III, and Custom (cent-level tuning). Shared across the tuning fork, tuner, and keyboard, with a deviation display that shows the differences at a glance.
