Found this app. Works great. It even found CDs/singles from years ago that I had missed. Great feature is you can preview the songs. ### 4/5 — Very helpful *2014-06-18, version 2.0* This is a great app for tracking down new music from your favorite artists. I like to check it once a month or so. One suggestion would be to add a date sort so you can see all the latest albums sorted by date, regardless of the artist. That way you wouldn't have to check each individual artist's latest album. Regardless, great work on this app! ### 3/5 — Epic *2013-01-07, version 1.8* This app is pretty epic but It needs to be updates to not crash all the time and it hasn't been updated sense 2011 so please update. ### 4/5 — Pretty Good App! *2011-07-03, version 1.5.3* Drawback to this is that it only picks up newly releasesed music on ITunes. There are lots of music released that ITunes doesnt carry, and it would be good if this was handcuffed with a desktop/laptop app so that it could search like Frostwire, or Bearshare and search all avenues rather than just ITunes. BUT this is a made for ITunes product I suppose so it does what it's supposed to rather efficiently! Hasn't crashed near as much since the recent update so cudo's for that too! This app makes it easy to check on the artists I really care about. Great concept and a good idea. There are a few small setbacks: 1) when adding an artist to the current list, you have to type in the artist's name exactly right. I wish there was a feature that suggested similar spellings that exist in case I forget how to spell someone's name or band name. 2) It would be nice if the app searched more than the iTunes database for new albums. Sometimes (it's rare) the band may not release their content on iTunes. Also, the band may not even exist on iTunes. (i.e. typing in Brandtson returns no results, because their music isn't on iTunes. typing in "Paolo Pandolfo" also returns nothing, because his gamba recordings aren't on iTunes either.) ### 5/5 — Impressive! *2011-05-06, version 1.4* Extremely convenient and true music lovers best friend! ### 5/5 — Nice *2011-05-06, version 1.4* It's about time! Love it ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be good *2018-09-18, version 2.0.4* Hasn’t been updated in over 3 years, I even bought the full version but since then the creator has given up on the app because he thinks Spotify does what this does which is factually wrong so don’t waste your time on the app. I found that NuMu does the same thing and still works. ### 1/5 — Doesn't update. *2013-09-10, version 1.9.1* I was so stocked. Basically any artist you can find on itunes you will find on this app. I added my entire list and 3 new albums have come out and I have not once been updated in anyway, there's nothing to update you saying "new album" or anything next to the artst. I'll still keep the app because as you scroll your watchlist it has a pic of that person's latest album. So I'll check once a month for a new pic next to my artist and hopefully I'll remember all the old ones and can update myself that way. But this app will not give you an update about new albums, will not have a section for new albums so you can click and see them all, will not have "new album" next to the artist on your list. Just a complete waste unless you try to update by your own memory like I'll be doing because this is the only app like this that I can even find. ### 1/5 — Update please! *2012-11-21, version 1.8* Will this ever update?! But has rarely worked and with the latest update, I can't even open it. Now all it does is crash every time I refresh. Haven't seen any updates in a long time.
