### 5/5 — Best App for Learning the Arabic Alphabet

*2013-10-22*

This is by far the best app I've seen for learning the Arabic alphabet. It teaches each of the vowels that go with each of the letters, and it also teaches how to write it neatly. This is my favorite one and I use it for teaching Arabic

ماشاء الله الله يبارك فيكم وفي أعمالكم الصالحة

### 5/5 — Simple and perfect!

*2012-08-14*

This app makes learning the arabic letters so easy. My daughter easily traces the letters and reads as well... I'm using the iPhone version of the app on an iPad. Can you make a similar version for the iPad? A must have for kids....

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2014-01-29*

There's a mistake between the sound "a" and "ew"! (for example: they read "lew" instead of "la" and "la" instead of "lew"; and it''sur the same for each letter). It makes this app unusable!

### 2/5 — App needs to be updated 6/3/2018

*2018-06-03, version 2.1.1*

Assalaamu alaykum, my child likes this app, but can not longer play with it. Would be great if it could be updated. Jazaka Allahu khayrn.

### 2/5 — Looks promising but has a major bug

*2014-02-01*

Thank you for the effort to create this app. However, there is a bug in your current version where the 'fatah' and 'dhumma' sounds for each letter are reversed. Until that's fixed, the app isn't really useable.

### 3/5 — ب

السلام عليكم. يوجد مشكل في الصوت بين الفتح والضمة. بارك الله فيكم

### 3/5 — Nice, but could be better

*2011-10-24*

I commend the developer for creating an app that makes learning Arabic fun for children. I love that the user can hear each letter pronounced with the different vowels. But the letter tracing could be much better. First, the iPhone interface is too small for preschool hands to write on. This would be much better if it took up the entire screen of an iPad. Second, I don't like how each dot must be touched before the child hears the signal that they have done a good job. In many cases the letter looks, fine, but the signal is not given and the child may earn only one or two stars as a reward instead of three. I think that for younger users, the parent can talk to the child and help them instead of relying on the star or signal system for positive reinforcement.

### 4/5 — Great app, but can't turn sound off?

*2013-02-07*

It's a wonderful app and I really enjoy it. Just one thing, the sound will not turn off! Even when my iPod is on mute, it still makes sounds...

### 4/5 — Great app

*2013-01-18, version 1.2*

Great for someone who is studying Arabic! Mabrouk!

### 4/5 — Superb

*2012-12-03*

Jazakumullahu khairan for a great app!
I would like to mention that in the Arabic Alphabet, the sequence of letters ends with "Ha", "Waw", "Ya". (The App gives the sequence as Waw, Ha, Ya, which has been a little confusing to my children)

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2012-04-11*

Great App! Love it and my lil ones really are benefiting!

### 4/5 — Good but...

*2011-12-27*

Yeah I deleted it in five mins it got pretty boring and it only shows stand alone letters.
