## What is Musoplay?

Musoplay gets you playing music and having fun. It wakes up your ears and gets you listening like a real musician, which doesn't mean it's easy or for everyone, it's not, but it is accessible. And you don't need an instrument to get going, just ears, hands and a brain.

Each day brings a fresh, human-made tune and three ways to play it.

By ear: the tune is broken into parts for you to listen to and repeat on the virtual instrument.

Off by heart: play the whole thing from start to finish just by listening and remembering (big challenge).

Read the notes: treble clef and bass clef.

Or if you want to try your hand at making up your own tune, Musoplay Create makes that easy and accessible.

The beauty of Musoplay is that you can play it on the bus or wherever, because the virtual instrument is built in. Musoplay is about using your ears and learning how to listen in a musical way, so when you do get back to whatever instrument you play, you can concentrate on the mechanical stuff.

McMuso is your in-app music companion. Ask the questions you'd normally save up for a music teacher, get an explanation of something you've just heard, or take on the daily music quiz.

There are points to be won, streaks to maintain, and awards to be earned (a few surprise characters). We don't take the leaderboard too seriously, or any of this really, but it's fun to be on there and see how everyone else is getting on.

Been playing pretty much every day, few issues here and there but this is to be expected as it is a solo indie developer. As a novice piano player the game has truly enhanced my ear and note reading.

I don’t currently have any musical instruments in my house and I miss learning but can’t commit to the cost and time of lessons. Musoplay is really helping me access that part of my brain that used to love learning tunes and playing. I always thought it was about whichever instrument I was learning but now I realise it’s just about the music. The way it has different levels to warm up is also really helpful. I honestly love this app and I found it worth it to pay for premium so I could play the whole tune from start to finish. Great find!
