### 3/5 — Worth it?

*2026-06-03, version 1.5.2*

This app is really good so far and looks like it has some cool features in the subscription-side. Having said that, it will only offer DTL analysis and they take a REALLY long time (with the free version, at least), and for $30/month, I don’t know if it’s worth it.
Even then, I would love to see the subscription plan be more in the $15-20 range. People are fed up with subscription models and their current subscription is likely going to price a lot of people out.

### 4/5 — Solid swing analysis app

*2026-04-22, version 1.4.0*

The mustard app is great for the skeletal overlay and swing plane lines. Wish there was a face on feature for additional analysis. It can be quirky at times depending on lighting, but overall a solid swing analysis tool, if you know what you’re doing

### 3/5 — Great app but price lets it down

*2026-04-13, version 1.3.0*

I think the app is great but can’t bring myself to pay 25 quid a month just not worth it

### 3/5 — Okay, but far cheaper competitors

*2026-03-25, version 1.2.0*

The app is okay and picks out certain faults in your swing quite accurately, but no more than cheaper competitors like ‘Golf Fix’. Price is where this app majorly falls down!! Why would anyone pay £25 a month or even £150 upfront (for the year) on something that may not even work for them?!?! Especially when there are just as good apps far far cheaper!

Prices need to half to be good value.

### 3/5 — Analysis Failed

*2026-01-15, version 1.1.18*

I submitted swings for analysis three times and all I received was a message stating it failed. No diagnostics to understand what to do differently.

### 4/5 — Slow and lagging

*2026-01-07, version 1.1.18*

I’m updating my review - which was initially 2 stars because it was so slow. However, I think this is by far the best AI app out there. The way they have the instruction and drills set up are very good. Will be recommending to my friends. If I actually get better then I’ll change to 5 stars in a month.

### 3/5 — Slow and lagging

*2026-01-05*

This is a new app so bugs may still being worked on but for 25 bucks a month, it’s not worth it yet. Uploads take hours and the “plans” take even longer. Still waiting on that aspect to be delivered. The information it gave so far is pretty basic but I will follow the plan and update my review accordingly if actually helps me finally rid my EE.

### 2/5 — Not worth the money

*2025-11-29, version 1.1.17*

I guess I was looking for a quick fix and that’s on me. I really think it’s a money grab and only provides very obvious solutions

### 2/5 — Don’t expect custom AI advice - very generic

*2025-11-25, version 1.1.17*

I have been overall disappointed. The AI images are cool but not useful. So the AI says my hands are “too in”. OK, why? They gave me 8 potential reasons! If this were a truly useful app it would discern exactly what I am doing wrong (like my golf instructor) not give me a laundry list of potential reasons. The drills they give you are helpful but you can get all that for free on YouTube. With further development of the generative AI model this could be useful but at this point way too generic. Also the scoring is highly variable (as others have pointed out).

### 4/5 — Helpful but Lacking in Some Ways

*2025-09-15, version 1.1.13*

I’ve been using Mustard for about 3 months and can say that my game has slowly and steadily improved even though the appointed swing ratings have varied. The varying ratings are frustrating because the uploads are very limited to 1x/week and there’s no chance to correct a minor flaw or mistake immediately. Ideally, it would be better if the app allowed the user to find a steadily increasing trajectory of ratings from review to review. The app however does allow me to understand the weaker elements that I need to focus on allowing me to prevent from tinkering and losing too much of a good swing as a result of trying random fixes. I would also say it is quite difficult to achieve an overall rating above a low 8. There seems to be a lower body initiation/rotation move that is very difficult to prove to the AI scan. Posture, grip and alignment reviews are not a part of the swing model which is odd as they are integral to any good swing.

### 4/5 — Very good, even better for some $$$

*2025-08-24, version 1.1.12*

So, the swing analysis is completely free. All you have to do is make a profile. It’s the drills/plan that they give to you that costs money. That’s $150 a year or $25 a month for the annual and monthly plans respectively. The stuff that’s free is already great.

### 2/5 — Broke Down

*2025-08-12, version 1.1.11*

I inputted one of my friends swings (he could barely hit the ball so maybe the analyzer just couldn’t handle it lol) but after I inputted that it broke down on me to the point where even after deleting and redownloading the app it says “data invalid”. I can do anything on there anymore. Before it broke down, though, I loved using this app.

### 2/5 — Could be great

*2025-07-26, version 1.1.10*

This app could be great if there was more interaction with humans or even the AI. I'm sure it's great passive income for someone, but the attention to the customer is seriously lacking. After your video review, YOU have to figure out where you are having the issue. The AI will tell you what you are not doing correctly, but it's up to you to figure out what you're doing wrong.
Then, you'll get a list of drills to pick from. You pick a favorite, and your stick with that for 2 weeks. You can't start drills the day of your review, you have to wait till the following day.
The app makes me feel like they want to prolong your progress, because you are paying more the longer you are subscribed.
The IT service is good, but the customer service is a 2 out of 10.

### 3/5 — Too much £££

*2025-06-19, version 1.1.7*

Not paying that much without first seeing what it can do, 7 day free trial needed. Or just download golf fix and I'm sure it's the same thing, but more access for free

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Not very valuable.

*2025-11-10, version 1.1.17*

Obviously requires a subscription, but how would I know if this is worth spending for a subscription if the app does not allow you to trial the app?

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2025-10-06, version 1.1.15*

I’m a little underwhelmed by this app. Maybe I’m not using it properly. The app seems to identify many possible causes of a swing fault without using the AI to hone in on a specific area. Similarly I was hoping for some drills to help me improve but what I have is videos highlighting the fault without a suggested drill to fix it.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2025-09-28, version 1.1.15*

I was waiting to see my swing just to see I have to pay money to look at it

### 1/5 — Doesn’t accurately track swing

*2025-08-05, version 1.1.10*

Not great. I can see that somehow it doesn’t accurately capture the swing video - it doesn’t se to have the same capture rate as my slow non video so therefore the AI advice completely fails. Very poor.

### 1/5 — Just didn’t work, I got a free subscription and uploaded multiple videos but none of them processed

*2025-03-16, version 1.1.2*

Just didn’t work, I got a free subscription and uploaded multiple videos but none of them processed

### 1/5 — Continuously fails to analyze

*2024-12-17, version 1.0.11*

I have uploaded several swing videos following the best practices (DTL, not too far, not too close, club in frame, good lighting, etc) and every single video has failed to process. I really want to try this app out, but I haven’t had any success.

### 1/5 — Should be free but it’s not

*2024-10-12, version 1.0.7*

Why do I need to pay for a subscription for this??

### 1/5 — Not ready yet.

*2024-07-31, version 1.0.4*

Asking for a subscription commitment before providing any useful information is a big ask.

### 2/5 — Difficult to use

*2026-07-12, version 1.6.0*

Is there a tutorial for how to use this app? It is very difficult to use and navigate.

### 2/5 — No features

*2025-12-27, version 1.1.18*

Hard to tell if the app’s any good since nothing is available until you subscribe. I’ll just stick with golffix

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It works.

*2026-08-19, version 1.7.0*

Would have liked a free 1 week trial but gave the app a shot without one based off previous experience using their pitching app for baseball.

Mustard immediately diagnosed the big problem in my swing and gave me some cues to work on. I saw immediate results in accuracy when I was able to make the adjustments.

So far so good.

### 5/5 — Great app very informative !!!!

*2026-08-08, version 1.7.0*

This app is really getting pretty good! It is a work in progress but it does a really good job of seeing what you need in your swing. It takes some work but the plan they lay out and the path to get there are very well thought out. I strongly believe the drill/coaching ideas are presented as well as they can. I like the slow motion drills but they feel a bit glitchy still.

### 5/5 — Great results

*2026-07-23, version 1.6.0*

I am a 2 handicap who has struggled to get better. I have taken lessons with many instructors. This app has been a game changer for my full swing and I have learned so much about my swing. The technology is amazing and it is really the easiest way to get instruction from one of the games best teachers. Great job Mark!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2026-07-19, version 1.6.0*

Anytime I’m feeling lost, this app helps me get back on track. Slow-mo drills are an amazing tool that must be taken advantage of daily, it’s immeasurable the value this app brings to the table!

### 5/5 — Real, individual instruction

*2026-04-17, version 1.3.0*

I’m several weeks in and this is phenomenal. It takes your swing and gives you custom drills to work on your specific issues. The key is, it makes you drill for two weeks before moving to the next issue! You don’t get away with drilling once, declaring “I got this”, with bad habits returning.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2026-02-06, version 1.1.18*

Great app really helpful gives great tips and feedback for your swing

### 5/5 — Easy and informative

*2025-12-09, version 1.1.17*

Just downloaded the app. Used it for 5min. Loaded 2 older videos of my swing and the analysis on each swing is awesome. It’s easy to focus on one or two issues of your swing to fix. Great training videos custom to your swing analysis.

### 5/5 — Need to Upgrade

*2025-11-22, version 1.1.17*

The visualization of your golf swing is useful as you admire your swing path. The technique and drills to correct swings flaws are invaluable.

### 5/5 — Michael

*2025-11-13, version 1.1.17*

Surprisingly good - wish I’d paid for annual subscription!

### 5/5 — For serious golfers only

*2025-05-12, version 1.1.6*

What a great app!
