Petit bug cependant dès que l’app passe en veille et qu’on la réactive, cela baisse le niveau des écouteurs (AirPod et iPhone e 16e utilisé). Dommage on galère à chaque fois à remettre le son. Idem, il manque un « retour » vers la salle précédente en cas de mauvais clic ou si on se perd dans le musée! ### 3/5 — Des corrections à faire *2026-02-28* Une voix IA monocorde dépourvue de chaleur dommage...avec forcément des erreurs de lecture qui nuisent à la compréhension ou font beaucoup rire ! Des bugs de son.... pénibles ! Impossible de garder l'appli ouverte lorsqu'on veut prendre une photo ou lire un message ... des défauts à corriger au plus vite.. ### 3/5 — Quelques améliorations simples à mettre en œuvre *2026-01-26* Dans l’ensemble l’application fait le job. Voici quelques axes d’amélioration : sur iPhone, il y a un bogue de réglage de volume, ce dernier est réinitialisé quand on sort et qu’on retourne dans l’application avec la lecture en cours ; il manque la vitesse de lecture 1,5x (dommage car ça me semble être le bon compris pour le Palais des Doges en français) ; il manque l’intégration iOS pour pouvoir faire précédent ou suivant sans être dans l’application. ### 4/5 — Can’t go back to previous rooms on tour app *2025-09-10, version 1.0.16* The content was very good but I couldn’t figure out how to navigate back to a previous room in the order. I missed a couple of rooms due to walking incorrectly. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2025-05-11, version 1.0.9* DO NOT USE THIS APP. Like every other review says, this app does not work. The volume level is controlled and set by the app at a very low level and cannot be increased. Walking around the Doge’s Palace in Venice we lost phone signal and the audioguide stopped working, even though it was meant to be downloaded. Wish I had tried one of the third party audioguides rather than this official one. Also no customer service or response to my request for a refund. ### 1/5 — Dreadful app *2025-05-08, version 1.0.9* Really the worst app I’ve ever used. Keeps stopping and cutting out with no way of preventing this from happening. The descriptions for the Doges palace are very confusing too ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2025-04-28* Honestly not only one of the worst apps I’ve ever tried to use but one of the most useless content-wise. The app refused to download the content despite multiple attempts probably because there is no WiFi onsite and cellular service is limited at best. The “audio guide” is a computer read script that might suit students of art history but the average tourist will find it HIDEOUSLY too long and detailed about the allegories in each and every artwork in the palace. That combined with the lack of proper enunciation or pronunciation makes it frustrating at the very best. Save your money and read the signs in each room. ### 1/5 — Internet doesn’t even work *2025-04-23* It’s not good. All the qr codes are invalid and the wi-fi didn’t work. I just deleted it after a few minutes ### 1/5 — AI voice audio guide *2024-10-30* The app is quite buggy with the volume control not working half the time. Additionally, the audio guide voice is an AI generated bot. The emotionless and mundane voice put you to sleep. Imagine someone reading a dense textbook in monotone. This is what the app experience is like. After the 4th track, I gave up and just read the signs and captions at each stop, which made for a much more enjoyable experience. I would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Far too quiet *2024-09-26* Unfortunately, I didn’t read the reviews before getting the audio guide for myself and my kids. It is far too quiet to even hear, and the vast majority of the information is already written on boards scattered around. Mais par dessus tout les commentaires proviennent d’une (mauvaise) intelligence artificielle. Parfaitement inadmissible pour visiter un lieu incroyable ou l’art est porté à son paroxysme ! ### 1/5 — Such a frustration *2025-10-20, version 1.0.16* I didn’t have the volume issues, but the app kept cutting out (every time you put it to your ear to listen it turned it off. Then it would freeze whenever you got to an important room). Also, the voice was clearly read by ai, and did nothing to help you orient yourself so you spent most of the trying trying to work out what they’re talking about (to the north, to the south, etc. when you’re inside a room). Overall, it was better than nothing, but only just. ### 1/5 — Lost Cause *2025-08-07* Very very unfortunate, it is a shame everyone thinks they need an app now adays because it doesn’t work! It will close and pause, there is no wifi throughout although claiming so. Does not point out features just starts at random for each room. Unable to follow. ### 1/5 — total scam, but a true Venetian experience? *2025-07-17* I installed this app as part of the doge palace tour. You would have expected a 5 euro guide will give you a device or sth interactive. But no it just unlocked the content on your phone for 24 hours and you can’t revisit it either. That being said thou, being scammed by Venetian is part of the experience visiting Venice so for that I give it a 1 star instead of 0. ### 1/5 — Totally useless *2025-07-12* Paid for the audio tour but the app had so many bugs and issues I couldn’t use it. I tried to get a refund from the office I purchased it but they gave me the run around and a customer support email that never returned my complaint. You should avoid. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2025-06-30, version 1.0.16* Do not buy the audio guide or use this app at Doge’s palace. Everyone who did so quickly found that it stops working shortly after and you just had to give up and read the museum signs instead. No chance of a refund either so save your €5. ### 1/5 — Totally useless app *2025-05-19* We paid for the audio guide which only opened access to content for 90 minutes. You are supposed to move through the large museum with the speed dictated by the app which delivers dense information in a very dry computer generated voice. The guide is constantly restarting throwing you back to the very beginning, especially if you hit pause just to take a closer look at something or work your way around other tourists. Il nous a permis de nous passer de la location. La visite du Palais est facilitée et bien documentée. Yes, as others have said, the app audio did stop 3 or 4 times, but as I followed instructions and downloaded the guide, I was able to find the room in the app and resume the audio tour. The building was well worth the money for the tour and the audio guide was very good in my opinion (despite the annoying minor bugs)! Hopefully others reading this review will download the audio guide and enjoy the experience :-) ### 4/5 — Fabulous Artifacts *2026-02-19* While the artifacts are fantastic The layout of the museum is confusing, and I didn’t get to hear all of the explanations because the numbers weren’t matching up with the rooms that I was in having to re-trace steps to get out and then seeing some more art which was fantastic as well seeing art from the first century was really really amazing recommend but don’t expect to be told where to go or how to get there.
