Seems I’m having the same issues that everyone else does. I can’t get past submitting the background check. The buffer wheel just turns and turns. My WiFi signal is very strong. I’ve uninstalled the app and even tried registering a different email. It seems like a good opportunity to make extra money but the app definitely needs work. ### 1/5 — Can get to background check *2025-09-03* Sooo… I signed up, and only got to the background check portion of the app. It stops there and just keeps buffering. The background check didn’t even go through. Not sure what to do from there. I took pics of my vehicle, submitted my license, which says it’s still under review for like a month now. I also submitted my insurance and registration. I did the video of me lifting 100 lbs, and everything.I uninstalled the app, and shut my phone off and restarted my phone and redownload the app and went back to to the back ground check and it STILL buffers. I can’t even move to the next step. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2025-08-17* SCAMMERS they take your money for a Background check and never with the guarantee to return it if you are not hired by the company but then they just leave you waiting to be approved but 5 months later your still not!!!! I’ve pasted multiple background checks for many companies with no other issues so this is a SCAM TO STEAL PEOPLES MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! ### 1/5 — Scam. *2025-07-18* Haven’t been paid in 3 months. ### 1/5 — No jobs *2025-07-17* Another fake company to collect your data and sell it to china ### 1/5 — Avoid and Abort *2025-06-19, version 2.3.0* It’s either a SCAM or a badly ran business. ### 1/5 — It’s a scheme *2025-05-05, version 2.2.0* They make you do all these unnecessary things to verify your vehicle, identity, insurance, then finally after all that, they ask for $50.00 for a background check. Then they never get back to you, I sent them a message asking for a receipt for the background check, no response. ### 1/5 — ISSUES *2025-02-03, version 2.0.5* CANT GET PAST THE TERMS OF SERVICE PAGE!!! ### 1/5 — App is having technical issues *2024-07-30* I’m trying to sign up and it keeps saying the app is having technical issues. Do you know when this problem will get resolved so I can finish signing up ### 1/5 — High risk of injury *2024-05-27, version 1.4.0* I worked with them for 4 months, they tell you that you will be lifting minimum of 100 pounds which is easy but then they have you and the driver lift 300-600 pounds and a lot of times up 2-3 sets of stairs. Some stairs are very narrow and the door entry as well so you either end up scraping your hands and arms or scraping the couch, i have gotten several deep cuts and a driver broke his toe and spent several weeks without work. Also they have you drive hundreds of miles each day throughout Los Angeles, since i started working there i’ve been having to do oil changes more often and i keep getting nails in my tires which i had to get patched up again today for the third time. Also they don’t pay prop 22 payments which is the law for them to pay, i told the guy in charge named Jonathan but he stated that “Muvr doesn’t have to pay prop 22 because drivers and helpers make a lot of money” which isn’t true considering that we drive so many miles. I don’t recommend this company to others, its not worth the risk of getting injured and too much wear & tear to your vehicle. ### 1/5 — Terrible Experience for Movers *2024-03-11* There are many 5 star reviews with one sentence in the comments. I would not trust those. Here is the reality for those wishing to join the app. Getting onto the app requires several steps including sending photos of everything; every inch of your vehicle, all of your supplies and even a video of yourself lifting 100 lbs which I found intrusive. You are required to submit all of your information and a free background check. Once you are approved and have access to the app you can accept jobs. My experience with accepting offers has been a joke. I will get 10 notifications a day with available jobs. When I immediately go to the app, it takes about a minute to load and then there are no jobs. Support is not very helpful if even available. They will tell you that this app is the next big revolution and that you will be so busy but in one month I have yet to see a single job. I’m beginning to wonder about this company because I found out about it via text message that was unsolicited. I Still don’t know how they got my number. Yet another op that promises big things and fails to deliver. ### 1/5 — Reviews are fake, pictures are fake. *2024-02-26* Been on this app as a Muvr since early November. Literally one move has popped up on my feed and there was no driver for that move. So had to get it cancelled. There are zero kind of promotions, don’t use this as a primary or even secondary choice for income. You’ll make $100 max every 6+ months. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scammers. Worst app ever. *2026-04-22* They take months to pay their drivers. They play too many games. They have a dedicated team but they are not dedicated enough to do their job. This app is literally worst than Dolly. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS APP. They are scammers. These app is run by Indians. Cheap and scammers ### 1/5 — Scammers *2026-04-18* I’m was with the app two weeks,first job went ok but didn’t receive money,second came up to be full 3 bedroom move when I was only paid for one bedroom and forced to finish or I won’t get paid for what already moved that day,so I decide not to finish it as contract was for one bedroom,so in retaliation they didn’t pay me for my first move week before .don’t use them when you at Crete and barrel as they not only didn’t pay me ,also my helper and 2 other crews I talked with,you don’t want to use company that don’t treat they worker fair ,if you will your them you are partly responsible for their scams as you were warned,I don’t have to mention they are Indians which are top players in scamming people. ### 1/5 — Not pay *2026-04-13* I have completed jobs and have over $300 unpaid.
