I was turned on to Muvr by Crate & Barrel. Muvr was able to pick up the next morning and deliver straight to me about 20 miles away. Communication was great. They let me know when they picked up my piece and were on their way. They arrived right when they said they would and delivered quickly and easily.. ..Very polite too. They answered all my questions about truck size beforehand. Really great communication throughout the entire process. Delivery guy was very strong and easily moved our very heavy furniture. Very professional, will definitely use again! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Scammed and refused to refund *2026-07-27, version 2.15.8* Muvr canceled and promised a refund, stalled until it was past my credit card dispute period, and then took down all their support channels. I booked a deliver by accident and called to cancel within 15m. Support said that they canceled it and would refund within a couple of weeks. After a month of waiting I called again and then said to wait another 3 weeks. The refund never came. It’s now past the deadline to dispute the transaction. Muvr has conveniently dropped their support line AND email channel with zero other ways to get help. ### 1/5 — Scummy company, STAY AWAY *2026-06-25, version 2.15.8* There’s zero way to contact this company… I paid to have a piece of furniture moved and was never linked with a service provider yet my card was still charged and got no service. STAY AWAY from Muvr. But up to the day of the move, no movers had been assigned and the move was marked as pending. I decided to cancel in order to make other arrangements, but a notice popped up that there is a 20% cancellation fee. There was no phone number to call. No customer service to chat or text. It was stressful waiting all day wondering if anyone was going to show up. I ended up contacting someone through Facebook marketplace who came over right away to move my furniture. ### 1/5 — Unreliable, no customer service *2025-08-18* I booked 3 days before the move and my credit card was charged. But up to the day of the move, no movers had been assigned and the move was marked as pending. I decided to cancel in order to make other arrangements, but a notice popped up that there is a 20% cancellation fee. There was no phone number to call. No customer service to chat or text. I found an email on the contract but no one has replied to my 2 emails. It really stressed me out as I waited and my pickup time came and went. I decided to call my credit card company to report the charge as fraudulent. ### 1/5 — Scammed out of $206 *2025-07-25, version 2.3.0* They charge me for the move request. No movers were ever assigned to my job. The day of my move of it was as if my request never went through. There was no record of my purchase in the app, but I did have an email receipt and my card was charged. There’s no way for me to request a refund since our customer support is only reachable through email and not responsive. I would avoid. ### 1/5 — Not in the business of moving furniture? *2025-03-18* Recently purchased a 9-drawer dresser from Restoration Hardware and originally selected Muvr to transport it. I went ahead and selected the pick-up truck, since it was one item as the truck is described for, and selected the only option for dresser. I noticed that other items like tables had other selection options for the materials they may be made from, along with differing price points. Was contacted by John who said that because the dresser was from RH and estimated to weigh over 300lb they would need to hire two additional individuals to the two already assigned, thereby doubling my original quote. He mentioned that Muvr is “cautious” with items from RH, yet no mention of this is made in the app. I did not move forward with their service. Furniture movers are supposed to specialize in overweight items, considering most furniture is overweight. Otherwise I would do it myself! Seems they are only interested in moving mdf/particle board pieces. ### 1/5 — No Service Area Identified *2025-02-08, version 2.0.4* There’s no way to determine if they service your area without downloading the app and providing all of your personal data, including agreeing to their EUA, allowing them and their affiliates to email, call, text and robocall you. This is VERY frustrating, to say the least. ### 1/5 — Can’t get past the terms of service *2024-11-26, version 2.0.0* I can’t get past the terms of service. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted the app and tried to reinstall. From the click of a button the delivery was at my doorstep in two hours. C&B sales rep recommended I hire Muvr for the delivery. Scheduling was very easy and pricing was clear and reasonable. I was scheduled for a delivery window of 12-2pm and I was fully prepared to wait around for 2 hours but they showed up right at 12! The driver/muvrs were very professional and friendly, and quickly brought up the media console to my 2nd floor living room. Overall, 10 star experience! Don’t hesitate to hire these guys for your next move/delivery needs. They are GREAT!!! ### 5/5 — Above and Beyond! *2025-07-13, version 2.3.0* I can’t say enough wonderful things about this company. We picked out furniture at an outlet store and the staff recommended Muvr for delivery. They responded immediately, gave a quote and were there within an hour to pick up and deliver! They were so nice and respectful. We told them the bldg had an elevator but unfortunately the VERY heavy sofa sleeper didn’t fit in the elevator!! (Advice to customers: don’t just measure the room, make sure to measure the elevator too) so these amazing guys carried that beast up the stairs!
