### 3/5 — Widget issue

*2026-07-03*

The play/pause button on the widget doesn't work. Opens the app instead (on ipad) .. would have given it 5 if it wasn't for this bug.

### 5/5 — Finally!! No more ads no more monthly payments!

*2026-06-22*

I have my own songs. That I paid for once upon a long time ago. They’re the songs I love and want to hear over and over. I don’t want to pay $100+ a year to hear them. I don’t want ads to interrupt the back side of Abbey Road. I just want to listen. Muzi delivers. Streams my songs. Makes my playlists. Works in my car. Really—what else do I need? Chef’s kiss. Now, if someone could do this for Netflix, I’d be all set.

AI Mixes & Discovery

- Enhanced Curation: Daily and Weekly Mixes are now smarter. We’ve optimized the generation logic to target ~60 minutes of music, ensuring better flow and variety.

- Cooldown & Countdown: We’ve restored the 24-hour generation cooldown with a new live countdown timer, so you always know when your next mix is ready.

- Settings Overhaul: Customize your listening schedule with our redesigned, premium-feel settings screen.

Dashboard & Navigation

- Home Screen Refresh: We’ve replaced "Quick Picks" with a curated dashboard that intelligently blends your "Recently Played" and "Most Played" tracks with fresh discovery picks.

### 2.0.6 — 2026-07-07

What's New in Version 2.0.6
This is a massive update to the library, keeping it beautifully organized and making it easier than ever to share music with friends. Here is everything new in Muzi:

Seamless Music Sharing
- Shareable Muzi Links: Say goodbye to PIN codes! We've introduced Universal Links. Tap a shared link from a friend to instantly download and import their music directly into your library.

- Background Uploads: Sharing a massive playlist? Muzi now uploads in the background and sends you a push notification the moment your shareable link is ready.

- The Song Hub: We’ve added a dedicated "Song Hub" tab. It acts as your central command center to track incoming transfers, manage downloaded files, and view your shared link history.

Powerful Library Organization
- Auto-Clean Metadata & Art: Messy track names from downloaded files? The new "Auto-Clean" feature automatically scans your songs, fixes the titles/artists, and downloads crisp, high-res album artwork. You can auto-clean individual songs, full playlists, or your entire library.

- The "De-dooper": Re-downloaded the same song twice? Head to the More tab and run the new "De-doop Library" tool. It automatically finds and removes duplicate tracks while smartly preserving the version with the best metadata and album art.

- Playlist Merging: You can now easily merge multiple playlists together or import tracks from one playlist directly into another.

Interface & Navigation Upgrades
- Persistent Navigation: We’ve overhauled the app layout with a new persistent bottom navigation bar and a sleek MiniPlayer that stays with you as you browse.

- Visual Transfers: When sending music via AirDrop or Phone-to-Phone, the dropdown menus now feature thumbnail previews (album art, artist photos, playlist icons) so you know exactly what you're sharing.

- Playlist Upgrades: Added a search bar directly inside the Playlists tab, plus fresh new playlist icons (including Gaming and Running). Playlist headers now calculate and display the total playback duration.

Bug Fixes & Stability
- Shared Music Fix: Squashed a bug where newly imported shared songs wouldn't appear in the "Shared Music" playlist until you restarted the app. They now appear instantly.

- Audio Focus: Resolved an issue where playback would crash or fail to resume gracefully after Siri or another app (like YouTube) temporarily interrupted your audio.

- Startup Performance: Massively optimized the background library scanner, eliminating crashes and lag when launching the app with huge music libraries.
