They released an update, today, which fixed that problem. I can’t see anything. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work with iPhone update *2019-11-03, version 1.8* This App doesn’t work correctly if you switch to Dark Appearance Background available with iPhone update. Have reinstalled it but that didn’t help. My iPhone just did an update recently could that have anything to do with it. ### 2/5 — Ok but deletes random lines *2019-08-07* I don’t mind using this list app. I still use it everyday, but it will randomly delete things on your list and leave a blank line. I thought maybe if you left a line still typing and didn’t hit enter maybe that was causing it to get deleted? I started to counter this by putting a line with just a period after each item and making sure to always be on a line with a period before closing the app, but this didn’t actually work. I was just getting lucky(50/50 chance) of it deleting a line with a period instead of a line with info. I’ll keep the app for awhile but I think I’m switching to another listing app. ### 4/5 — Almost perfect *2019-06-29* Very simple and easy to use app. Love almost everything about it. My only 2 concerns are: 1. I purchased an add free version for my iPhone, but on my iPad it still has the version with adds.... does my purchase not count on other devices? 2. I just want to check off my lists. BUT - some of my lists are long (Costco!) And I would REALLY love the ability to alphabetize my lists. I started to notice that I’d go to check my shopping list or to do list and there’s be blank lines where whatever I had written got randomly deleted. This app’s supposed to help me remember things. I use it to track my bills, it’s easy to sort and check off items then send to notes for long term storage. However, recently I have started having an issue with list items disappearing. They had not yet been marked complete but when I open a list, many times one or two items are missing that were there previously. It seems to be happening more frequently as time goes on. Since the update you can’t see the line items and the screen is all black. It’s unusable. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work On Dark Mode *2019-11-01* I love this app, I use it for everything. However my iPhone is on Dark Mode and the recent update of this app has rendered it useless. When I pull it up all the writing is missing. It’s just a blank black space with the white ‘paper lines’. I know the words are still there only because I use emojis at the beginning and end of each title, but I can’t see them. Please fix this!! I don’t want to have to find another list app!! ### 1/5 — Was great but not anymore *2019-11-01, version 1.8* Was a great app for all the lists of stuff I make for different stores but after the latest update it went completely black and you can’t read anything you had written! And there is no app support and when you go to settings there are just a bunch of lines and again you can’t see anything! Deleting it and finding a new app to use ### 1/5 — Pointless alternative to Apple Notes *2019-04-10* There’s almost no point to this app. Any list you create here you can create just as easily in Apple Notes and also share them with friends. Sure, you can sort the list by checked items in this app but not in Apple Notes, but this app offers no organizational tools at all. It’s just one endless list. In Apple Notes you can add text headings for aisle, store section, or anything else to organize your list. Personally, I think organizing a list by aisle or store section is far more useful when shopping than sorting by checkmarks that you can already plainly see. There are far better grocery apps out there or you can just use Apple Notes. No point in downloading this app just to see their ads. ### 1/5 — Please answer your support emails.. how do I import a list from another phone? *2018-03-13, version 1.7* So if I get a new phone I can’t import lists from my old phone to your same app on my new phone? If so how?? Sent 2 or 3 emails no one ever responds. I PAID you for this app, transfer lists amongst devices should be a pretty basic functionality ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Simple, Functional, Easy *2025-05-14* I’ve been using this app for years. It’s not fashionable to say, but not every app needs to have wiz-bang glitz, a dozen indispensable life hacks and the ability to launch nuclear weapons. Simple tasks should have simple apps. This app allows me to create lists, rearrange their contents and check things off. It does what it should, and it doesn’t bug me by being “new and improved” (and more confusing and bloatier) every 6 weeks. It’s perfect for its purpose. ### 5/5 — Awesome! *2023-05-08* I love this list and use it daily for everything! The only change I would recommend is the option to share/edit with another that also has the list. My crochet group keeps track of orders/stock using List and it would be so nice to be able to edit our inventory with a ‘connected’ list option. Other than that, this is genius! I’ve downloaded a couple of list apps to help me organize my time. Since I’ve found this one I deleted the other two. I can make as many lists as I need, name all the lists, make categories of items. I love couponing, so this is a must i can even put the discount amount next to the item so I can match it with my coupon. I even have a list of stuff to do before I leave the house or do before I eat lunch. If I don’t only half will get done. I’m not great with technology and this is so easy to use. Once I’m done with my list I delete it. If you keep it basic (groceries, to-dos, books to read, songs to learn, whatever) this is one list app you’ll likely actually check!
