The app redirects to the MWC web page through the default browser (Safari in my case) to verify your photo ID, but when it tries to access the camera a blank screen appears with no error message and it’s impossible to complete the registration. I switched to Chrome and it worked fine. This might be avoided if the entire registration process was carried out within the app. Aside from this issue, the app appears to work fine so far. ### 2/5 — It was really useful but not any more??? *2023-03-23, version 23.4.2* Hello! Thank you for the app, appreciated the participants profiles, networking opportunities and navigation across Fira, but now that I try to access my notes I cannot! I thought the photo that I had to take was going to be used to BREEZ but now is on my profile photo and it is impossible to change it. Completely useless. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — A big disappointment *2026-02-17, version 26.1.5* It is truly astonishing how an event that literally revolves around technology can build such a hideous app. The app’s downtime exceeds by far its runtime, the networking feature barely ever works and it overall has a horrible user experience that is riddled with bugs, lags and every page is glitchy. This is truly disappointing given the size of investment companies are putting in this event only to find an app performing like this. Do better… ### 1/5 — Why use the verification photo ad the main one? *2025-03-03, version 25.5.10* This app uses the verification photo as the main photo without informing users. Instead of displaying the photo we upload, it publicly shows the verification image without any warning. This lack of transparency is misleading and should be addressed. Beyond requiring the app for entry into the event, the App’s functionality is limited and navigation is lacking. There is a lot of effort and work put into the application, but uncovering the value of it all is difficult. Would be great to see all of this pushed to a native web environment where there is less gate keeping and more universal appeal. Will it be a challenge? Most certainly. Will it be worth it in the long run? Absolutely. ### 1/5 — More hassle and stress than necessary!! *2024-02-21, version 24.3.3* The digital ID is broken. Tells you to logout and login again but doesn’t work! ### 1/5 — Does Not Work - Bugs *2024-01-30, version 24.3.2* There are two massive bugs which make this app unusable. 1) When you register for MWC, the form requires you to enter your address, but it forces you to use an invalid address format that does not exist in the USA. Specifically, “House Number” is a required field after you enter the street address. You cannot leave this field blank, you cannot enter valid text like “Suite” or “Unit”, etc. You also cannot enter alpha-numeric characters, so if your “house number” is A or 23C, etc, you’re out of luck. 2) That then causes a second bug. When you enter your credit card information, since the app forces you to use an invalid address format, credit card payment fails because the address on the form does not match the address on file with the credit card company. Perhaps the app works if you have a address that also has a “house number,” in addition to your street address. ### 1/5 — Awful pass experience *2023-02-28, version 23.4.2* The pass doesn’t work offline and the mobile connection and wifi wasn’t working despite the app working on the first day: awful experience , physical passes better ### 1/5 — it doesnt work *2023-02-27, version 23.4.2* anytime to download it fails (in iphone) .
