Now it doesn’t - it closes after 30s which is no good when playing live and need to make adjustments. ### 2/5 — Not good *2026-03-18, version 2.2* The metering was far clearer before.. there’s an old saying. “If it ain’t broken don’t try & fix it” ### 3/5 — The app was good when it worked *2026-02-17, version 2.1* I enjoyed this app as many other apps like this when they worked most of them don’t work won’t allow you to connect wirelessly or with IP address assuming they’re not compatible with iOS 26 if the developer could please update their app so we musicians can continue using it ### 2/5 — Bring back groups *2026-01-25, version 2.1* Some parts about the update are a little smoother but overall this update was a step back. I use it as a church drummer and previously heavily used the grouping feature. For example I had all the drum mics grouped, our leader and his guitar with click on another, all the instruments grouped, etc.. it’s mildly challenging now to scroll back and forth while playing. Seems to be a universally agreed upon this update needs an update. ### 2/5 — Need option to keep phone from going to sleep and needing to reconnect *2026-01-22, version 2.1* I like the 2.1 update with more sliders on the screen at one time, but it is almost useless because the screen won’t stay on, and then I have to go through the whole reconnection process after the screen goes to sleep. ### 2/5 — Please Fix🚨 *2026-01-12, version 2.1* New update is trash. Screen doesn’t stay open like the old version when it closes you have to reconnect. Also, when you separate your mix in 4 categories, it doesn’t allow you to have those faders in one group. lastly. choosing your mix before you went into it makes it easier to navigate. it kept from having someone accidentally messing with the wrong mix settings. ### 2/5 — Update made UI worse *2026-01-12* No complaints about the connection to the board (seems to have stabalized), but the user interface is a downgrade compared to the previous version. This allows them to use their own personal device and control their mix bus. This newest update moved so much, and hid critical things that has left many singers confused. Unfortunately this confusion has led to multiple people changing the wrong mix bus and even the main mix on several occasions. We are now hunting for a different solution as this app can no longer be used in its current state. Easily a 4/5 star review before. But the update at the end of November has made it completely unusable. Our biggest gripe (now that the sound meters have finally returned) is that it doesn’t remember your mixer any more, and its scrolls instead of has pages of inputs. Me and my team are actively looking for a better alternative. ### 1/5 — Sucks *2026-01-04* Mix Bus is like the old MX-W before the late 2025 update. Could we please get an update that overrides the phone's auto-lock function like it used to? Each time it locks during practice or performance I have to unlock the phone, I then have to re-select the board, transfer parameters, then go to the right sliders. It’s hard to adjust channels, it constantly rescans and is “connecting” a quick fix now takes minutes- and I want to go back to the old version. There was no issue with that with the earlier version. Now suddenly, you have to turn around get a second to open your phone so you can make an adjustment. That’s not any good at all. While on a gig using both hands. The old version of the app stayed open on your screen without having to make any phone adjustments. Now every 30 seconds it closes out and it’s rather difficult in a life playing situation to have to put your password in every 30 seconds. ### 1/5 — Please bring back the old app *2025-12-21* The new app looks nice but the channel numbers are removed. Thank god I use an old phone that I haven’t updated for live. No more grouping channels in quick access shortcuts. The touch input lags so much. And every time you re open the locked phone it takes minutes to reinitialize. We used to be able to filter out the mixes according to MCA assignments and now that is not available. Have to scroll through all the channels to get to the ones desired. I don’t know if it is just me but now I can’t easily connect into the mixing table and it is really difficult to know what is what since the new version is confusing and there are no images that correspond to the channels. ### 5/5 — Works! *2024-09-05* My band uses this app (M32 mixer) just about every weekend. The only hiccup is you might have to close and re-start the app perhaps once a night like during sound check. Other then that it’s been stellar! The band leaves me alone for the in-ear mixes which in turn leaves me free to go to the bar :) I have an old but strong Wi-fi router so be sure you have a good one. After connecting to the router using the app with ip, I select the mix bus and I can hear the instrument and my mic but I can not control the volume of any of the channel. Can someone please help with this issues, i don’t know if its an issues with the console x32 or the MX-Q app. Your support its appreciated.
