After taking a Master level DSM course and working in the field of alcohol and substance use for over 5 years, this application is perfect for self diagnosing. The application uses question specific to criteria to assess for alcohol dependency. Anyone who may be questioning their drinking can quickly diagnose themselves using this application.

I taught a course on DSM diagnostics for substance abuse counselor training, several semesters in a row, at University of Houston back in the 90s.  I also worked in the substance abuse field for 12 years.
