## What is My Allowance?

Who carries cash anymore? As a parent, I struggled to scrounge up a few bucks every week to give to my child, only to have them give it back to me and order something off the internet. I needed a better way to keep track of their allowance balance, so I create My Allowance.

My Allowance allows you to keep track of your children's allowance balance without using cash. Think of it like a virtual bank.

1. Keeps track of multiple accounts, as well as their balances and transactions
2. Syncs accounts between your device and your spouses or other guardians
3. If the child has a phone/tablet, they can see their account on their device

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT CONNECT TO AN ACTUAL BANK ACCOUNT. THIS IS SIMPLY A BOOK KEEPING APP.

I need to track allowance, which should include allowance coming in.

This app is worthless. It will not save data and does not work as advertised—or at all. There is another review here that says basically the same thing, but I foolishly thought it would work for me as the app was listed as “compatible with your device.”  Don’t make the same mistake. Every time you close it it erases out and you have to re-register and set up your accounts. Honestly the random post-it in my purse was a much more reliable tracking system than this. Don’t do it.

I thought this was perfect, exactly what I needed, until I used it. I paid for it, downloaded it, and set up the “account” for my son. The next day I opened it and I had to set up the account again, it had been erased. I did it again, and closed the app, opened it, and it was erased again.
