Goes round in circles asking me to login. Then set up a 4 digit code code. How can I access my AMP bank account. ### 1/5 — AMP bugs *2024-07-11, version 7.25.1* Poorly tested with obvious deficiencies. Example: one term deposit cannot be managed and generates an error. Cannot view correspondence and generates an error. Submit a general enquiry and term deposit does not appear in a list to select. Version 7.25.1 Poor user experience. Same issues on app and website using different browsers. Poor IT service delivery. Not tested properly. Appalling for a large financial organisation. ### 1/5 — Horrible *2024-07-04, version 7.25.1* Useless app with horrible service. ### 1/5 — The app is all but useless *2024-05-16, version 7.25* If you need to make payments you should avoid this app and try to use the web or transfer funds to something more reliable. It’s so buggy that it will let you down when you need it most. If it wasn’t for the interest rate I’d ditch them. ### 1/5 — Nuisance *2024-04-29* Stopped working. Entering new PIN allows three digits only, when touching the fourth number jumps to the next screen confirm PIN. Same thing again, jumps to next screen and freezes unable to enter user name and password. Called AMP tech help, deleted snd reloaded app twice after power off/ on phone as suggested, no change. Thank god online banking on the computer works, would be in the dark otherwise. Deleted app from phone, useless. **Developer response:** Thanks for reaching out. Sort it out. ### 1/5 — Crashes all the time *2026-05-19, version 7.41* I just signed up with AMP for home loan and this App is always crashing. It’s not related to my phone having an update as I keep things up-to-date. Constantly having to reset my phone for one app is not cool! AMP you need to fix this. ### 1/5 — This is the most unstable banking app! *2026-05-03, version 7.41* Pretty frustrating that this app has been down all weekend - and no way to access via phone browser 😟 this isn’t the first time this app just hasn’t worked for a ridiculous period of time. ### 1/5 — Cant set up *2025-12-24, version 7.39.1* Pretty bad. App loops when it tries to add accounts between add account and security code. Then if you exit there’s no where to add accounts. Closed app to try resolve and asked me to reset pin, doesn’t seem secure. Doesn’t work with Apple passwords. Would let me register and login, but that’s it. Did not let me add accounts. When I tried putting in a complaint with their NZ based customer service team, the woman focused more on a frustrated swear word I dropped than the fact her company’s app did not work. This is a reflection of the terrible customer service AMP currently provides. They used to be great - now they’re rubbish. So is their app. I regret my home loan with them. I’m sticking with my current banks which use more secure methods such as an Authenticator app and a Passkey. ### 1/5 — Avoid *2025-04-29, version 7.33* This is the worst bank and the worst app. Do not get sucked in by their rates. You can get better elsewhere anyway. It is not worth your time. The growth has been strong over the long term, and my experience with the fund has been positive. Easy to transfer money and see what’s in my account. Really appreciate that touch ID integration makes logging in super easy, and the page view doesn’t get clogged up with unnecessary things like “goals” as with other banks. Changed to 24hr time after advise from another App and AMP also working correctly. Other developers suggesting iOS Bug. ### 4/5 — It works *2018-10-18* I find the iPad app functional and it does what I want without too many clicks or interactions. I always like apps that just work with you, without much fuss or flash. The details are clear and easy to read, in the right place and the important stuff readily available / visible. The one bizarre thing is the quick balance feature which shows you "funds available for withdrawal" which isn't the same as"balance", e.g. on a home loan the balance is often way negative compared to the funds you can withdraw.
