You cannot tell what you have typed making it useless. I did use it once on the trail to report an issue by relying on my phone’s word suggestions but now I use my browser when I get home instead. ### 2/5 — I guess was expecting more *2010-09-29, version 0* As a resident I thought that I would be able to do more with the app. There's only a couple of useful things like reporting graffiti and calling 311 to ask a question. The rest is just a pretty face on the regular city website which is definitely NOT made to use on an iPhone. I don't even think a visitor would find it too useful since there's not even any Disney or convention information or a way to find out how to catch the bus to get around town. Better wait for the update to get more use out of it. ### 1/5 — Nice Try but Poor Design & Execution *2010-09-28, version 0* It's been 9 months since the Anaheim App Challenge finished and this app really shows why it could use a few more months of development. I wanted this app to be useful but it's just disappointing, especially with so many other good apps and mobile websites available. * Overall - low-res graphics look fuzzy - not actually iPad compatible like the city website shows (it's just the even more fuzzy looking 2x mode that doesn't change to landscape mode) * Request City Services - can't use your existing login if you've already submitted requests using the website - only 6 categories (instead of the dozens available on the website) means your requests take longer to get a response * Calendar - no way to add the events to your own calendar - can't get driving directions from the built-in Google map - no way to search * City Info - most of the links go to the City website that is almost impossible to use from an iPhone or iPad (lots of unnecessary Flash and small menus) - links that go to forms don't even let you save the PDF or email yourself a link to use later at your desktop computer ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Broken App *2022-09-14, version 2.12* Since updating my iPhone to iOS 16, the app does not recognize that a selection has been made in the “Request” field. It was a decent app before the latest update and now I can't even open it. But even before that it was fairly decent.... One thing is that I would like to see more city events listed on the calendar with better descriptions. Thank you! ### 5/5 — Easy to use, super informative *2010-09-28, version 0* The new MyAnaheim app is so easy to use and has a lot of information that is very easily accessible. The quality is great! I like being able to view the calendar of events and submit a question directly to the city, submit a payment, and access basic City Information without having to go to my computer or make a call. The City is a leader in technology based customer service. This is just one more helpful way to know the City is here to serve residents, businesses, and visitors. Downloads and works OK, except you cannot for example “CALL 311” on the iPad. ### 3/5 — My history & option *2026-02-06, version 2.14* The app makes easier to communicate with the diferente departments. My history is stopped to work, sometimes I would go back to see if the matters was addressed. Please fix it!! Would be great if would add more options “others” is the selection that takes longer to get a feedback. Also, it seams like it needs an update. ### 3/5 — Overall Basic App- *2017-07-31, version 2.5* I cannot say I'm too excited about the most recent update. I appreciate the attempt to clean up the clutter. The item I most used had been the link for mobile pay of my utility bill which is no longer under City Info. I feel it's time for a redesign. The front page is such wasted space. Maybe go with a tile system on the bottom half of the front screen.
