## What is My Area News?

Our mission is to provide latest local area news, incidents, events and facts globally by sharing what users see in their area. Our platform offers a place to post news and connect with everyone who shares unique insights and views. This empowers everyone to know and share from each other and promote the local news globally.

User location is must as the discussions are around only location specific news. Anyone can join, share the news and contribute globally.

The high level features are
1) Users can post news, incidents, events and medias and others can comment or vote as like it or dislike it. Also mark as favourite which can be filtered later on. Useful sorting and filtering criteria are available
2) News can be filtered based on location or an other text by user or title etc
3) Frequently visited users or regions can be used to filter easily
4) Private messages can be exchanged with users
5) Each news is listed separately so comments on each news are displayed separately.
