It’s fairly simple to use and keep track of as much or as little data as you like. You can even track cleaning and maintenance intervals if you like. I looked at a lot of them. It not only has inventory tracking for your guns, ammo, and shooting sessions, but it updates your ammo inventory each time you shoot. It also has a place to keep up with your accessories and optics and even a way to tie an optic to a particular firearm. It also has a wishlist area for items you are considering and I use it a lot so that when I go to a gun show I already know what I am looking for and what prices I have seen a gun or ammo for. I use it for what ammo I need and I already know my pricing from my inventory. I meticulously logged my inventory and serial numbers for security purposes, only for a recent update to completely erase all my data. I cannot trust this app enough to re-enter my information. The developers need to fix their database management, as updates should never destroy user data. ### 1/5 — Extremely difficult to use *2024-02-02, version 2.2.2* I reached out to the developer and didn’t get a response. I also tried to find a phone number to contact them with no luck. After digging a little more into the company who owns this app it’s extremely suspicious. No fees and nothing can be found out about the developer. How can the developer continue the app upgrades and maintenance without any funding? It has glitches on my Iphone even with latest OS; for example, I have to enter range sessions more than once because they do not always save. Also, some of the field descriptions use unclear terms. And I should have the option of sorting ammo and guns in my preferred order and not necessarily by the app’s limited options. I have been able to “backup” my inventory on Mega (after trying on Dropbox and Google Drive without success), but as of yet cannot get it to restore on another device. A big negative for me! Currently it is a manual process. Auto syncing app data across multiple devices is still in our to-do list. ### 3/5 — iPhone 10x database error *2023-08-12* I’ve been using My Armory to track my shooting sessions & ammo used for my Gamo Swarm. The program works well until the 3rd time I try to open it I get a database error with a white screen. Rebooting my iPhone restores use for 3 more times. My iPhone is on iOS 16.6 which is the latest version when I wrote this review. This app made our lives sooo much easier. One of the biggest pros is the simplicity of adding background information to companies, range days, or even reloading materials.
