i just got the $45 1 gig plan for life  with free installation .also adding a phone for $5 a month.it was installed today. my internet speed is 518 mbps. they also are charging $90. basically they charge you twice the amount for half the speed you paid for. i told them if my bill is more than what is listed that i will immediately cancel my account . looks like i will cancel. i can’t stand companies that lie. i manage a service company and we are straight forward. we follow through on what we say. im probably gonna go back to att&t they promise $55 and that’s exactly what my bill was every single month. i can understand having some fees but $40 extra is ludicrous.

My service was going in and out my bill kept rising randomly every other month. I had them replace the line and it still was always going down. I got a new service that is more reliable and when I called to cancel Astound it took me over 10 minutes of saying no to deals, they kept trying to give me money off.  Then the rep hung on the line because they didn’t want a bad review.  They also told me it was impossible to get any type of evidence or receipt that I canceled my service.

The app is not working. After logging in, it shows a white box with the logo on top and a purple box on the bottom. There is no content. I am worried that an internet provider couldn’t get the basic technology right.

Woke up this morning to find out I’ve been billed twice! With a late fee!!!! Not late as I am on auto pay and always have been. The rep I spoke to via live chat tried to lie and said I didn’t pay last month nor this month. Had to pull up my bank statement then their tone quickly changed to “we apologize this is a system error” riggghtttt so you were going to try and gaslight me into believing I didn’t pay??? I wonder how many people you all take advantage of that don’t keep up with their finances!!! I promise you don’t want to hear from my lawyer

If you want random price increases, outages all the time, and when you call in for customer support, you get a 45 second ad before it even starts directing your call then this service is for you.

I read a few comments about customers bills being inconsistent and prices raised with no explanation, it’s all true. From the beginning I’ve been having issues with billing with this company. I signed up for autopay 2 months ago to avoid late fees and make sure my bills were paid on time. Today I get an invoice for $155 I talked to an agent she said it’s because my card expired meanwhile the card I have on file does not expire until next year and I’ve had no issues making purchases with it many other places. No email no notice that my payments have not been fulfilled just a whopping 155 invoice 2 months later. My rate is $50 per month and yet every charge to my account for the last 4 months has gone significantly over. This company is a scam period. All the reviews are 100% truthful I’ve been experiencing every awful thing that has been previously posted.
