Once I find a hair color and style, I would like the app to save it, but it doesn’t. It changes the hair style randomly. When doing full body styles it pairs the hairstyle in something I don’t like and I can’t change it. I really want to like this app but it needs improvement on speed and saving preferences. ### 3/5 — Used to be good *2026-06-13, version 4.1.4* The app has gone downhill. Used to be able to make custom palettes in the app, now it just opens the website. There isn’t an easy way to use it. You also can’t rename or deletes custom palettes. For example - when looking at the lipstick colors, I would like to rotate the camera to see the color on me. One of my favorite features was pulling out the camera to analyze colors, but the app crashes when I try to do that. So disappointing!! Instead of telling me my “season” based on a photograph of my face/hair, I was presented with an overwhelming number of choices that left me confused and not any closer to finding my color matches. This app would be useful if you already know your season, warm/cool, etc. and just needed a palette of colors. Don’t expect this app to do the work for you. It projects a set of colors from your screen and captures pictures of each color to replicate the way physical draping reflects colors onto your skin in real life. That’s my favorite thing about this app. The reason i knocked a star is the same reason a review below mine mentioned. Although it’s a great tool to help me choose my season, it would be nice if it flat out determined my season for me the way a color analyst would. ### 1/5 — Downgraded *2025-05-16, version 4.1.0* I used to at least be able to see a brief overview of all my colors, now you only get 3? The camera analysis does nothing but put your picture in the middle of various colour palettes. Then it’s all up to you. Sure, it was relatively easy to narrow it down to three or four choices but impossible to get it down to just one. The app suggests using a colour analyst and has links to Fiverr, but that means spending another $100 AUD. Cannot recommend. ### 1/5 — In app purchases don’t work *2026-01-11, version 4.1.2* Got this app hoping it would help me to figure out what my color analysis is for styling. It allows you to take pictures in the app and then view the picture with filters (for free) which was great but I was still left confused. So I pay the $14 “premium fee” to get a “professional opinion” and the page won’t load. I’ve tried everything to get it to reload including deleting the app and reinstalling all for nothing. Otherwise, all it does is take your photo and place it in the center of various combinations of colors leaving you to decipher which ones are best.
