On a business trip, on the way to an important customer meeting, the date with your partner is not fixed yet, it's grandma's birthday - and you leave your iPhone wherever you go. With the new my-buddy-app you'll never have to worry about that again. If you have an Apple Watch and this app, buddy remembers you in less than 60 seconds after the connection was interrupted. The app connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and notifies your Apple Watch visually and by vibration if you lose the connection. You'll also know what time it happened and know your approximate location - provided you allow the use of GPS. Your buddy is there for you: You can connect up to 20 Bluetooth low energy devices like iPhones, MacBooks, your Apple Watch, Tablets and Bluetooth Beacons! For buddy to work optimally you have to have at least the 3rd generation of Apple Watch and the system versions watchOS 5.0 and iOS 11.0 or higher installed on your devices. My-buddy-app now treats the imprecise location in the same way as if GPS were deactivated, since otherwise we would not be able to show you a sufficiently precise position if you lose one of your devices. This sometimes leads to you being notified more often, which in turn can be annoying, doesn’t it? Don’t worry, now we have a solution for that. Here you can set how long the device must have lost the connection to my-buddy-app specifically for the device before you receive a notification. You can also change the name of the device in the device details and see the last known location of your device. As a further small feature, when creating scenes, you can now also select WLANs in which my-buddy-app has recognized disconnections in the past.
