Buses are rarely on time or arriving when it says they should be getting to a stop. Real-time tracking doesn’t work at all. And to top it off, I’ve told it multiple times I don’t want notifications. Yet every time I open it it asks again. I didn’t want them the first time, and I don’t want them now! Why did the update get rid of estimated bus arrivals in real-time? That seemed to be quite accurate. Now the estimations are wildly inaccurate and have lost the convenience of the real-time changes. It’s slightly more manageable after switching off the bus routes that I do not use on the map. The bus tracking is great and reliable, but the time estimations are not. The update has made this app incredibly MORE INCONVENIENT to use, and I hope it is fixed soon. ### 2/5 — Update is bad *2019-01-24, version 2.0* Idk what happened when they updated it but it used to be a lot more easy to use and you could track specific busses a lot easier. Now the map is difficult and buses are only linked to their route so you can only track the route not a specific bus. The version last semester had a lot of better functions as well ### 1/5 — Just when you think it won’t get worse *2019-01-22, version 2.0* What the heck made you guys think any bus-taker cares about where EVERY SINGLE BUS is in Lawrence? Why can’t I select the bus I’m taking and just see where is my next bus? Right now I have to go to setting and uncheck all other buses and when I need to take a different bus I need to go into setting and check/uncheck every time. This app is a prime example of when someone who doesn’t take bus and has never taken bus is asked to design an app for bus taker. “Just make the interface look good. Screw the users.” It’s no more than a good-looking useless waste of storage on my phone. ### 1/5 — It fine before the latest update. Now it’s terrible. *2019-01-21, version 2.0* You use to be able to tell which way the stops went and expected time frames. Now you can’t even tell when the routes go. Update was a waste of time and now it’s not helpful at all. Hope they fix it soon. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2018-11-28, version 1.6.5* One would be better off using the paper schedule than this app. Consistently doesn’t track buses and merely displays the scheduled times. Would be wonderful if it worked. ### 2/5 — Some routes not updating *2018-09-21, version 1.0* Route 36 has not updated in three weeks; pretty much since the first day of school. One bus shows it is not even running, the other shows its running on the route but hasn't been updated so I have no idea when it will be where I am. I tried to submit a report on the app itself, the problem has not been fixed and I have not received any reply from the developer about the issue. App is no longer worth the space on my phone. Had this issue intermittently last year and let it slide, but this app has become a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Times wildly off *2018-02-06, version 1.0* I keep missing buses because your app shows them coming at a certain time, and then pushing them up at least 45 minutes early. Buses have also been tracking incorrectly so it shows them being 15 minutes away when they’re right around the corner. It is extremely inconvenient especially since we are in negative degree weather & I have to walk because the routes are never updated. Please fix this. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-10-06* Not only is it super complicated and hard to use but it doesnt even work as an app it randomly zooms you and even shows you the wrong times. Dont get it just pick up a panflit and use that instead this will make it harder to know when the bus is coming than just guessing i promise you. ### 1/5 — Inaccurate and unreliable *2023-08-13* As a student who lived in campus housing last year, I relied on the buses daily. This app would be quite useful if it actually worked, but it is generally inaccurate. The bus is always either ahead or behind of its point on the map, and the anticipated arrival times are hardly ever updated. There is no schedule either. Once I was rudely reprimanded by a bus driver for not coming to the stop “on time,” but I got out before the app said the bus had even arrived! Additionally, for anyone new to KU — expect to wait at least fifteen minutes extra for the bus, especially route 42. During my second semester, I was frequently late because the bus I needed to board would sit at the previous stop, often until the next bus on that route came around. The feedback on the app is never read, so don’t expect anything from that either. ### 1/5 — Not reliable *2023-04-05* The app is almost never reliable for me on campus or off campus and very often displays buses coming way sooner or way later than they actually arrive. I constantly miss the bus because the app is so unreliable. They really need to fix this app. ### 1/5 — Serious glitch issues *2023-01-31, version 2.1.4* Seriously please update this app, it is so glitchy and doesn’t properly show the bus routes or locationsat all!!! Freezing cold waiting for the bus, decided to go inside because none were close, but one that wasn’t on the map shows up out of no where! ### 1/5 — Almost entirely useless *2022-02-21, version 2.1.4* Bus times are completely inaccurate and not even worth looking at, the app won’t update the locations of busses on their route consistently, and the notifications of busses arriving don’t work at all. I’ve tried everything and I’ve still never received a single notification despite countless attempts to turn them on. ### 1/5 — Off Campus opinion *2021-10-13, version 2.1.4* If you are off of campus this app is straight up garbage. You are better off just standing at your stop an hour before you need to be anywhere. Times always inaccurate, shows bus times of busses that never actually come. If I had a dollar for everytime I missed a class because of this app I would have enough to buy the app and make it work. However it used to be that it would save my preferences when it came to bus routes but now it resets to every bus route popping up when I reopen the app. I only need a few them not all of them 🤣 also trying to figure out the reminders was confusing but I can work through this.
