### 5/5 — Perfect with my IC4

*2022-05-14*

I just got a Schwinn IC4 that I’m using with Apple Fitness+, and the one thing that I was really missing was a digital readout of the cadence. My Cadence paired perfectly with the bike and does exactly what I wanted.

The free version does everything I need, but I gladly bought the Pro version to support the developer. I would gladly have paid more to have the capacity built into the bike itself, so I’m really glad this app is available.

### 5/5 — Wonderful App!

*2022-02-18, version 1.7.0*

This is a great App which enables me to smartify my old indoor bike and use it with the Peloton App! Clear and intuitive structured.

### 5/5 — THANK YOU!

*2022-01-04*

This app is exactly what I needed to use on my iPad. The way it fits over the top of the app I’m playing my workout on is perfect. I gladly paid for the upgrade so I could see my history.

### 5/5 — Great app. One request

*2021-08-24*

Any chance you could add a pause button to the pro version so averages Cadence doesn’t get messed up if you have to pause? Thanks for otherwise great intuitive app.

**Developer response:** Hey there!! I am excited that the next version 1.6.1 will have this feature. When you stop and hit start again you will be asked if you want to resume ;) also full ride history!!

### 5/5 — Does one thing really well

*2021-07-17*

This app does exactly what it says on the tin, and does it really well (with a pretty icon and the privacy labels people want as well). More utility apps should follow this example.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2021-04-10, version 1.5.0*

Does exactly what it says, reliably. I use this with Apple Fitness+ cycling classes. Great job!

### 5/5 — Exactly what I need!

*2021-04-04*

Using a Schwinn IC4 with Fitness+. Great bike but the RPM display is hard to read. So I keep this app on my phone on the windowsill and fitness+ on the iPad. Perfect!!

You can also overlay the app on the iPad if you prefer.

Thank you!!!

### 5/5 — Awesome App!

*2021-03-07*

I recommend this APP for bikes that aren’t digital. I use this APP with my Sunny indoor bike and my Apple+ fitness rides! I can’t recommend this APP enough.

### 5/5 — Update: 5 stars!

*2021-02-10*

*UPDATE* James reached out and went above and beyond to troubleshoot why the app wasn’t working with my Garmin sensor. He even purchased the sensor to test it out himself. His worked, so I reached out to Garmin, they sent me a replacement, and it immediately displayed my cadence! Thanks to the developer for the excellent service (especially for a free app) in what turned out to be an issue with the equipment. Works perfectly and I am happily using this fabulously simple app on my rides.
*********
It detects and sets up my Garmin cadence sensor, and shows the name of it on the screen. But it does not display cadence, no numbers appear.

**Developer response:** Hey there. Would love to help out to figure out what is going on with your sensor. It would be great if you could turn on Debug mode in the settings, connect to the sensor, and then in setting hit send email which will send me the logs. That should help figure out what is going on.

### 5/5 — Easy peezy!!!

*2021-01-21*

Love the ease of set up. Used my iPhone for the app and it paired with my Garmin cadence sensor 2 within in a matter of seconds!!!
Also, thanks for not charging a fee to get the cadence reading. That’s what I was looking for. some other apps that were easy enough did charge a fee just to get the cadence reading. So thanks. Awesome!!!!

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2021-01-19, version 1.4.0*

Does exactly what it says it does. Works great with my wahoo cadence sensor and Garmin watch.

### 5/5 — Free cadence app

*2021-01-18, version 1.4.0*

Works as it should. It is easy to set up and use.

### 5/5 — Works Well and very useful during rides!

*2021-01-16, version 1.4.0*

Set up was quite easy on both iPhone and iPad Pro using a Wahoo sensor. Works well and easily connects and disconnects for multiple users on a spin bike. I use it in split screen mode on the iPad, I wish I could resize the cadence window to about half its size on the iPad Pro so that I can view more of the Apple Fitness+ cycle workout screen. Great App.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2021-01-14*

The app does what it says simply. Gotta love that. Developer of the app is responsive as well. It wasn’t working with my sensors and they worked with me to resolve and thus improve the app and allow me to use it. Win-win!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2021-01-11, version 1.3.1*

Works very well. I use it with Apple fitness so I can see my cadence.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect

*2024-07-24, version 1.8.0*

Horrible! Doesn’t connect to my Wahoo, cadence.

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2024-06-23, version 1.8.0*

It does not overlay on the fitnesses plus app as mentioned in the instructional YouTube video. I could use the wahoo app the way it is because this apps function is the same. I use a iPhone 14pro. I already deleted the app. Other reviews are questionable.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2022-04-30, version 1.8.0*

Connected to my sensor instantly but unfortunately all i see is a “?” for my speed. All the useful features are behind a paywall

### 3/5 — Start/Stop position on iPhone

*2022-01-18*

App is great, but it’s super easy to hit the “stop” tab when grabbing the bottom of the scree to flip the page to another app. Obviously you have no idea you’ve done this until you come back to look at progress. Kinda asked the otherwise great app useless because I can’t trust I won’t inadvertently stop the current ride. Move it to the center of the screen below the cadence display.

**Developer response:** An update here that I have made this adjustment! Thanks for the feedback

### 4/5 — Doesn’t play well with others.

*2021-02-15*

Yes, this app works quite well on its own to display real time cadence for free. If that’s all you need, you’re in luck. But my Garmin Vivoactive watch uses my cadence sensor and when it connects, this app won’t. I really like graphing my average cadence and overlaying with my heart rate on Garmin Connect after a ride, so it has priority over the big, instant cadence number this app offers. If there’s a way to let both devices work I’d love to hear.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the review Bill! I wish that Bluetooth devices could connect to multiple receivers at the same time but that is just a Bluetooth limitation. On my bike I actually have a sensor on both crank arms so I can do testing which works out nice.

### 5/5 — Does exactly what it says.

*2025-12-23*

If all you want is a way to display the output from your cadence tracker, this does the trick. I paired it with the Moofit sensor (cadence only) in less than a minute and it reliably displays how fast I’m pedaling.

### 5/5 — Works with Moofit

*2025-12-01*

I couldn’t get the Moofit to work with the MYX bike, I downloaded this app and it works great. I finally am able to maintain cadence while riding.

### 5/5 — Write data to Apple Health

*2024-06-22*

I would happily get a pro subscription if this application wrote workout data to Apple Health. Is this capability currently planned?

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2024-03-01*

Straightforward. Easily connects to the transmitting device. Can upgrade with a one time payment. No painfully overpriced monthly subscriptions.

### 5/5 — Awesome app!

*2023-11-22, version 1.8.0*

Super helpful/ awesome app!

## Most praised reviews (5 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-07-23*

Nice large display and easily found and connected to my Schwin IC 4 bike. Thanks.

### 5/5 — No More Guessing

*2023-01-26*

I’ve only had my Schwinn IC4 for about 3 weeks and I’ve used it religiously. The one thing I didn’t care for was guessing what was my RPMs/cadence when using Apple Fitness+. There is a readout on the bike but it’s not good for seeing exact numbers. This app took care of that. I stumbled upon this app doing a search and I’m glad I found it and I happily compensated the developer and paid for the lifetime fee. I love being able to glance down and see what my number is without guessing. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Perfect little app

*2022-10-20, version 1.8.0*

Great app!

### 5/5 — Great app! Apple health support would make it greater.

*2022-08-30*

This is a great app that effortlessly connects and logs my workouts on my Schwinn IC-4. I paid for the full version immediately because I wanted to support such a solid piece of software, especially one that doesn’t sell user info or include invasive ad trackers.

Integration with Apple Health, even just to log stationary bike time, would make it even better if that’s something doable without sacrificing the integrity of the app.

### 5/5 — Apple iWatch display would be nice of cadence vs iphone

*2022-08-01*

Love the independency that your app creates so that I don’t have to use another featured app. It would be nice to have Apple Watch indicator I have an Apple Watch7 Thank you so much for taking the time to write this app for avid bikers as well as stationary
