## What is My ChefMate?

ChefMate is the AI-powered business app built for private chefs.

Your personal assistant knows your clients, your schedule, and your business. Ask it anything — what's on the menu this week, who owes you money, which clients have nut allergies — and get instant answers from your own data. Snap a photo of a grocery receipt and it'll log your costs automatically.

AI ASSISTANT
Ask questions in plain language and get answers drawn from your clients, meals, invoices, and recipes. Attach receipt photos to track meal costs. Use @mentions to pull in specific clients or meals. Every conversation is saved so you can pick up where you left off.

AI MEAL PLANNER
Describe what you need — "a week of dairy-free dinners for the Johnsons" — and let ChefMate draft a plan. Review, edit, and save it in seconds.

CLIENTS
Manage contact details, dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences. See linked meals and invoices at a glance.

MEAL PLANNING
Create meals with notes, ingredient costs, and prep details. Export menus as PDFs to share with clients.

INVOICES
Create invoices, track payment status, and set calendar reminders for due dates. Share directly from the app.

SHOPPING LISTS
Auto-generated from your upcoming meals. Filter by date, check off items, and share as PDF or text.

RECIPES
Build and organize your personal recipe collection for quick access during meal planning.

DESIGNED FOR PRIVATE CHEFS
- See your entire week from the Upcoming dashboard
- Fast, clean interface built for on-the-go use

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-01

Bulk recipe import is here. Import a whole folder of recipes at once —
PDFs, Word and Pages documents, text, Markdown, or photos of recipe
cards — and review them as they're read. Available on Starter and Pro.

Your recipe, meal, invoice, and client lists now keep loading as you
scroll instead of stopping after the first page.

Also fixed: switching accounts no longer briefly shows the previous
account's data, lists no longer get stuck while scrolling, long imports
no longer slow down partway through, and .md files now upload correctly.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-14

Accept card payments on invoices, subscribe to your meal calendar, share menus for approval, and see invoice payments update in real time.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-06

No release notes.
