The app is a piece of trash and you can’t do anything to the light without the app (not even turn it on). Save your money and buy other Chinese junk rather than this Chinese junk. App developers - there is a country called India. Half of the reason I got this light was because of its wireless connectivity. I hopped on the app today and I do not see my tank information nor see the light connected. I do not know what happened to it. Seems like others also have issues with this app. This app has so much potential and right now I’m trying to troubleshoot by starting from scratch and putting all my tank information in so I can keep track of it. ### 1/5 — AWFUL *2026-03-04, version 2.8.38* Never buy their products awful app consistently never works can’t log in half the time ### 2/5 — Frustrating *2026-03-04* App functions itself is nice when it’s working. But repeatedly logs you out and gives you error when trying to log back in. When you log back in doesn’t show you are connected to the light so you have to create a new tank. Then reset the app and it’s randomly re connected to your old tank profile. Completely glitchy. I have to relaunch the app at least 5 times to get it to connect properly with my lights. On this basis alone, but other competitive lights and avoid this until a permanent fix can be found. ### 1/5 — It shouldn’t be this Sifficult *2026-05-03* I’ve been running the Chihiros four head pump for about 2 months now and really want to love it, but this app is not letting that happen. Everything seemed to be working at first, but over the last 2+ weeks the Bluetooth loses connection with my phone and I lose the dosage accumulation and have to figure out how to reconnect the thing again. Maybe I need to set this up on my iPad because that never leaves the area of my tank. Regardless, I have many apps that use Bluetooth and none of the others has this issue.
