My phone got crushed on our family vacation but everything was already backed up on my own personal cloud. It backs up remotely and automatically so you don’t need to worry about doing it all manually or be at home for it to work. SO much cheaper than paying monthly for a cloud service like apple’s, too. Cant check if anyone has login the account and camt remove anyone who has login previously. I dont think it is secure at all. I even think WD developer can access all the image/video in the storage without our consent. The least they can do for the security login is make it Two-factor authentication (2FA). 3. Cant even upload file thru apps, only images n videos. 4. Doesnt have uploading bar to show the upload progress (by perecentage n file). 5. I dont think this apps and hardware are secure. 6. Dont bother to buy anything from WD ever again. They only maintain the apps when ios upgrade their OS. Basically…if ios has no update, they dont even care. (They only update once a year, but if has deprecating any service, they will update twice or thrice a year). ### 1/5 — Дублікат вже збережених даних. *2025-11-22, version 4.28.0* Продукт не виправдовує очікування від заявлених якостей. Мало можливостей (обмежений функціонал), працює гучно. З нещодавно виявленого і цей недолік дуже мене засмутив, це те, що коли ти перейменовуєш назву телефону, то додаток починає робити резервну копію галереї знов, тобто він не відстежує самі файли чи унікальну назву чи серійний номер пристрою, а лише назву пристрою яку ти руками можеш змінити в будь-який момент. І ось, він вже цілий ТИЖДЕНЬ робить ще одну копію (ДУБЛІКАТ) того, що вже було збережено на нього (а це мінімум 250+ ГБ зайвого місця і навантаження на інтернет трафік). І знов таки, ти не можеш навіть припинити цей процес, внести корективи, а є лише опція поставити на паузу. Коли надавав доступ до альбомів, то за відгуками, перегляд відображався не коректно, не у повноекранному форматі та з втратою якості. Охолодження лише пасивне, немає можливості включити додаткове примусово Вважаю що ціна не відповідає функціоналу (дуже завищена). Після оновлення додатку, мінус ще одна зірка за те, що замість того щоб збільшувати можливості користувачів, навпаки, ще також прибрали з опціоналу можливість перенести файли з Гугл фото при необхідності. ### 1/5 — 沒有同步 *2025-11-22, version 4.28.0* 已開啟自動同步，但每次入去app 睇每次都沒有備份，要開住app睇住，等它備份完才真係有備份，先能離開app ，激死😤用了幾年都是一樣的，沒有改進亦沒有人可協助。 ### 1/5 — A crAPP from a Bunch of IDIOTS *2025-11-22, version 4.28.0* I don’t understand what an absurd design this crAPP is.? Poi, però, è arrivata una notizia davvero deludente — non è più possibile collegare direttamente il proprio account Google Foto. Nel 2025 mi sembra assurdo che un servizio del genere venga rimosso, soprattutto considerando quanto ormai sia fondamentale l’integrazione con più sistemi possibili. Per questo motivo lo consiglio solo a chi intende usarlo esclusivamente per archiviare file.
