This is something I am NOT comfortable with as I am trans and I find it very sad that this app does that. I’m not sure if this is someone manually doing this or if it’s just the program itself, but it’s quite annoying and I don’t see why its even an option to change those things if they’re just going to set them back to how they were before. ### 1/5 — Transphobic *2022-07-24, version 1.0.8* I’ve had to change my gender listed on my profile 5 times now. Someone is manually changing it back to male and it happening to everyone who has “trans” or “transgender” listed on their profile. Constantly crashes, does absolutely nothing of what it is supposed to. I can’t chat with anyone that sends me friend and roommate requests because all of my messages will not send and eventually disappear. I also was having an issue where it would randomly log me out and load endlessly. None of the filters work, they pull from all genders, despite filtering on only one, and pull from all majors even if it is something that you can’t work with based on where you need to live for your LLC.Deeply disappointed in this app, when there is only about five weeks to even find a roommate. Finding a roommate here is an absolute chore, and the numerous bugs and glitches on this site are infuriating. When you pair with someone, it’s easy to forget that you also have to fill out an agreement (which cannot be filled out until both parties do so simultaneously). It has been a year since any development despite the immense amount of backlash, and there are several things wrong with the platform. First of all, and most importantly, it is NOT user friendly in the slightest. There are buttons on the UI that are greyed out despite being clickable, every alert needs to be manually marked as read unless clicked, and the app does not refresh properly. Recently, there has been a bug related to roommate eligibility, where some people were marked not eligible one moment back to being eligible again. There is also a consistent, reoccurring problem relating to input name and gender resetting what appears to be about every 24 hours. This has been happening to every student that has changed these input fields, and has been mentioned by multiple other reviews. Overall, the development, customer support and feedback teams have shown that the company lacks care for their consumers. ### 1/5 — I hate this *2023-05-09, version 1.0.8* I don’t understand why all these colleges use an app so terrible like this one. I think colleges who use this app truly do not care about their students because this is not just my experience with the app, it is the experience of the majority.
