This app was helpful but there are several typos and the font size needs to be adjustable. It’s way too small for anyone who has eye problems, and even wearing reading glasses it was hard to read and frustrating. ### 3/5 — Pretty, adequate, poor translations *2015-11-27, version 2.2* I’ve looked at two other Total Consecration apps and they are all terribly compromised by the exact same bad translations of De Montfort, Thomas a Kempis, the Bible, and the prayers. My wife and I are gulping and going through it but the assistance from this application is weak. ### 2/5 — Consecration *2015-11-05, version 2.2* First day and already see need for correction. No contact in app to send suggestions. Home share button, load error when tapped. Veni Creator prayer third verse wrong lines 3&4. Should read: The promise of the Father, Thou! Who dost the tongue with power endow. Also, where are the readings St. Louis gives in the book from Imitation of Christ? This is a good effort and helpful in sorting out what to pray and do everyday of the 33 day consecration. Needs more work to be useful. Errors and missing elements distract from purpose of readying the mind and spirit. ### 2/5 — Better available *2014-11-09, version 2.0.0* I wanted to try this to compare to another app I had. That app uses very arcane language, rather than a more modern translation. The type was way too small with no way to enlarge so I have no idea how the wording of the prayers and meditations are handled. You can’t access the prayers. Only parts of the app work. There are better available ### 3/5 — Text *2014-08-18, version 2.0.0* Please expand text size, or give options for increasing text size manually. The text is so small on both phones and IPads that you need a magnifying glass to read. Thanks ### 2/5 — Disappointed *2013-04-28, version 1.0* I too was looking forward to using this app on my ipad for my total consecration; however, it no longer works after the initial download. It worked the first time I looked at it right after the download but once I need it to do the consecration, it does not pull up the plan or the settings. It does work on my iphone (for now). I am not changing the settings, notifications or anything on my iPhone app, just in case that caused the problem on the ipad so I can continue to use my iPhone for the consecration preparation. ### 3/5 — Great try but some mistakes *2013-03-21, version 1.0* I like this app, but it has several inaccuracies, so I can't rely on it entirely, I still have to use my Preparation book: on some pages scrolling down won't stay. Day 27 is counted in week 2, when it should be the start of week 3. Week 3 should use St Louis de Montfort's prayer to Jesus, but instead continues using his prayer to Mary from Week 2. His prayer to Jesus isn't even listed in the prayers. Week 2 should have "Recite the Rosary" at the end of the daily prayers, but it doesn't. I'm just on day 30, so haven't finished to see if other things wrong, but you need to fix these to be accurate. and check everything else thoroughly. I'm sure I forgot some of the things that I found wrong on it. May Jesus and Mary be your guides as they are your Masters. God bless you in your work. ### 4/5 — clyon *2012-11-28, version 1.0* This app is a wonderful opportunity for spreading devotion to Our Lady and consecrating our lives to Our Lord, Jesus Christ. Although I've done this consecration for a number of years, this is my first time using the app instead of my book. Just a few things: I've noticed some of the wording is different from the book; in the list of prayers, it is not possible to view the last two prayers because the page will not stay down when scrolled so the prayers can be selected by tapping them; the font is small and difficult to read, especially for us older folks. A larger font will be worth five stars! But this app is still a blessing, and I thank you, and will spread the word that it is available. ### 3/5 — Useful but.... *2012-07-11, version 1.0* This is very helpful but there are some glitches. It doesn't always save the day I'm up to so I have to have a separate calendar. I think, at first, it went onto the next day automatically. It has crashed a few times. I would also like to copy and paste prayers. That said, I probably wouldn't now be doing the Consecration if I didn't have this App, so Thank you. Xxxx ### 4/5 — Good start, needs work *2012-06-09, version 1.0* This is a great start, but improvements necessary. 1) I've already made my consecration (May 13), so now I'll just renew it each year. The app doesn't provide for that. 2) I turned on the notifications because, for some reason I thought it would remind me according to the plan tab where I was. I guess I didn't notice that it doesn't have a date option for when I would need the reminder to renew my consecration (that would be very helpful). Instead it gave me a reminder anyway, even though I made my consecration almost a month ago. 3) on my iPad, the font size didn't change. Suggestions: 1) Set reminder option for a date to start the renewal process. 2) I prefer a 24 hour clock to a 12 hour clock 3) it would be nice to enlarge the font--the option doesn't seem to work right now on the iPad ### 2/5 — Only half working *2012-05-26, version 1.0* Only the Home and prayers buttons work. For plan, prepare and settings buttons, nothing happens. There is something wrong on the app for my phone, though it works fine in my daughters iPod touch. Would be great if it worked, but not useable the way it is..... ### 3/5 — Changing font size? *2012-05-02, version 1.0* I don't have an iPhone yet, using this on my iPad. Works okay except that it offers to change the font size, but choosing to do so does not seem to have any effect. I really need to be able to enlarge the tiny text in this app to be able to use it. It’s not a sophisticated app, and I had to look a bit to realize where the daily readings and prayers were, but once I figured that out, it was simple. Everything right there, word for word as in the book, without flipping pages. Thank you for this. The entire Consecration sequence with all prayers & readings is right at my fingertips. It has a feature where you can choose your Start Date, and choose , each day: Day 1, Day 2, etc till the end. No more losing track & reading Day 18 when I should be on Day 17!!
