## What is My Duty to God?

MyDutyToGod no es una aplicación oficial de la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días.

MyDutyToGod es una aplicación creada con el fin de ayudar a los Hombres Jóvenes de la Iglesia y a sus padres y Líderes en sus esfuerzos de cumplir con el programa Mi Deber a Dios.

Funcionalidad principales:

-El joven puede escribir planes y luego sus sentimientos en lo que se denomina “diario”.

-Todo el contenido de la aplicación se encuentra de manera offline, de igual manera, todo lo que el joven escriba puede accederse de manera offline.

-Si el dispositivo no tiene internet, y el joven completa alguna sección, al conectarse a internet se actualizará la base de datos. Con esto se evitará uno de los problemas que es que los jóvenes a veces pierden el libro y suelen desanimarse. 

-Presenta la funcionalidad de poder navegar directamente desde la aplicación a la “Biblioteca del Evangelio” cuando se nombran escrituras en las diferentes secciones. Esto es de gran beneficio para ayudar al joven y a los líderes en el uso del mismo.

-Los Amigos, Padres y líderes,(seguidores) podrán seguir al joven al bajarse la aplicación. Los que sigan no podrán ver un detalle de lo que escribe el joven, pero si saber bajo que tópico escribió. Esto se hizo así para motivar a los adultos, a que cuando le llegue una notificación de que el joven completo algo pueda ir y entrevistarlo para poder conocer que meta se puso y así poder ayudarlo. La aplicación no viene a remplazar el contacto cara a cara, sino a brindar una ayuda a que este contacto sea más seguido y personal. A los presidentes de quórum, les brinda una ayuda para invitar a otros jóvenes del mismo a poder charlar sobre los planes que se pusieron.


Esta aplicación tiene varios beneficios:


1. Se reciben notificaciones cuando un joven escribe algo.

2. El seguidor puede ver todo el historial del joven con fechas para hacer seguimiento

3. Tiene una sección donde se ven todos los items de Mi Deber a Dios y puede ver rápidamente sobre cuales se escribieron planes pero no se escribió en el diario, lo que puede ser una oportunidad para hablar con el joven.

4. Se recibirán recordatorios que le preguntarán al joven como viene con su plan, y a los adultos para que se acerquen al joven a preguntar como vienen con un plan luego de un tiempo.

5. Para los jóvenes que reciben notificaciones de otros jóvenes que hicieron planes y escribieron en su diario, será una motivación y un recordatorio de su propio Deber a Dios.

Slips into Spanish once in a while, so it’s hard to figure out what I’m supposed to do. When it asked what my birth date is, it was phrased wrong. Also it spells deacon wrong. I think a lot of it was translated into English incorrectly
