### 3/5 — Continual Advertising is Annoying

*2019-01-31, version 3.1*

I have purchased the app and paid the extra £1.99 to avoid the advertising pop ups.
However, it makes no difference, the advertising continues to interrupt the process.
Even paid twice to try to get rid of the advertisements but the pop up advertising is persistent.
Frustrating.

### 3/5 — Too Expensive

*2018-05-05, version 2.3*

There are some good qualities but I feel like it is way too over prized for the content they offer.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Steal ur money

*2019-10-22, version 3.6*

Made a purchase without permission!!

### 1/5 — H

*2019-06-16, version 3.5*

Is the app free?

### 1/5 — Absolutely worthless

*2019-04-24, version 3.3*

I bought the app and when I started to use it I found that it really wasn’t worth it as it was absolutely rubbish would not recommend this

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2019-01-18, version 2.5*

I paid the 2.99 for everything, and it’s still trying to get me to pay . Unsatisfied

### 1/5 — Not Free

*2018-11-09, version 2.5*

Unless you’re ready to pay for this, it’s an absolute waste of time. I’m a gcse student right now and find this extremely unhelpful. It would be much better if this provided us with the necessary information and/ tools.

This could perhaps be with a survey at the beginning and give all resources for FREE.

Also the word ‘matchup’ doesn’t always work. My first try, the quote was “when shall we three meet again?” And I had to fill in the space which was in the place of “when”. Options I were given were: “and” “the” and “where”. None of which were correct.

Very poorly coded and expensive.

### 1/5 — rip off.

*2018-05-17, version 2.3*

too bloody expensive for a working class youngster

### 2/5 — I’m annoyed

*2019-10-04, version 3.5*

It’s okay because I can read extracts and the books that I need but the ember I do the quiz it crashes and I do the fill the blank thing on Macbeth it doesn’t even give me the correct answer to pick!

### 2/5 — Prices

*2019-03-05, version 3.2*

I’m confused if the things like lord of the flies are free because it says I have to get it but there is no price.

### 2/5 — Not free

*2018-04-22, version 2.1*

Good content as the app is free but to look at the actual works other than Shakespeare’s you need to buy them

### 3/5 — Looks ok - but double check some answers

*2020-01-25, version 3.6*

Had a quick look at this app, within a few minutes spotted a mistake with one of the questions within Dr Jekyl & Mr Hyde. Be aware.
The app looks a good tool in theory for quick revision but be wary of some of the answers.

Further to your reply -
‘With whom does Utterson take his weekly walk.....’
The answer is Enfield
Your app states Lanyon

Also the quote
‘If he be me Hyde is shall be ....
Should read -
“If he be Mr. Hyde,” he had thought, “I shall be Mr. Seek

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — AMAZING!!!!!

*2023-03-16, version 4.1*

I can’t believe it’s free this is the most helpful app ever

### 5/5 — Great

*2021-11-03, version 4.1*

I’m loving that the creators listen to the feedback. I just got the update and everything works perfectly. The app creators are understanding and help when there’s something wrong.

### 5/5 — Really helpful

*2020-05-02, version 3.6*

Really helped me understand the texts ! recommend this app

### 5/5 — Excellent customer service

*2018-02-20, version 1.1*

Had a blip with one of the purchases for lord of the flies and customer service was excellent. The app is great for quick on the go revision, with a huge amount of info available. It finally got my son engaged in revising and means I can get involved with him. Double win.

### 4/5 — Really good

*2025-10-05, version 4.1*

It’s my year of GCSEs and this helps with recapping topics covered last year. Good to do when travelling or doing nothing. Just doesn’t have the new Worlds And Lives poetry anthology. Please get that soon.

### 4/5 — Great App!

*2021-03-23, version 4.0*

I have been using this app for a few months and Its great! The only time I get ads is when I want to download a new book (Understandable as they need Ad revenue) and it doesn’t bombard me with requests to review it. About the learning itself, they definitely have a good selection of books but maybe more in the future? I have lots of fun exploring classical texts (that I didn’t know were this interesting), and using the Flash cards to practice what I have learnt. To summarise, this is a great learning app and I’ve been doing better on my tests since using it. Looking forward to future updates!

### 4/5 — English past papers

*2019-12-29, version 3.6*

Add pass paper

### 4/5 — Love this really helpful

*2019-10-19, version 3.6*

Just wish in the read quotations section they put who said what

### 3/5 — So far so good, but...

*2019-04-03, version 3.3*

I’ve just downloaded it and so far, it seems great, but Pride and Prejudice, one of the texts I am studying, isn’t an option. Could you please work on adding it? x
