Do that please. Because your prices are consistently higher than the civilian market(presumably you are aware of this and do it intentionally), I always feel forced to do price match. That’s harder when you can’t cut and paste. Also- have a policy that once anyone does price match, YOUR price drops. Otherwise you’re just making us waste our time. You’re not a charity OR a business. Your job is to provide a service, the game playing you all do for MWR is exhausting. Have low prices and more people will use the site because of the taxes. I live in Virginia Beach and can’t find any stores in the area ### 4/5 — “For your safety” emails *2026-07-11, version 1.0.5* I just placed my first order with the AAFES app. It went smoothly except for one annoying issue. I kept getting told that “for my safety” i need to enter a code sent to my email. This was not a one time thing either it was numerous times. Hence the 4 star rating. I understand all the verification at the beginning when verifying me as a veteran but the other stuff was irritating. Beyond that, the app is very smooth. ### 3/5 — Poor programming *2026-07-09, version 1.0.5* This app NEEDS to allow paste into login AND auto filling by my password app. Both FAILED miserably when I tried to login. Five times I am not able unless I MANUALLY enter info. Please fix this ASAP. ### 3/5 — Good App, Paste not Allowed *2026-07-06, version 1.0.5* The app works well and makes online shopping easy. One issue I see, though, is with sign in. Paste isn’t allowed. Security conscious people use long complicated passwords that are impossible to memorize and are unique to only a single app/sign in. This app does not allow my password manager to enter the password nor does it allow the pasting of a copied password. That’s ok as long as the password is remembered but on occasions when it is not, logging in at a remote location is virtually impossible. EDIT: After looking at other’s reviews I see that the password issue has been reported many times and has not been resolved. This is a significant issue that essentially causes the app to be non-functional if you are in a location where you don’t have a second device or a printer available. Are there actually plans to fix this? ### 3/5 — App *2026-07-01, version 1.0.5* The first page of the App is great, same as the online sign page. Once you want to review the items it is not good. A lot of the page is wasted space, with a minimal area to actually view the items. Walmart and Amazon are two examples that do it better; even Lowe’s. Also, why did you get rid of the deal of the day? The reason I signed in frequently. ### 4/5 — Can’t Paste Password *2026-06-30* For some reason I cannot paste in my super long password. Hopefully this is an oversight and not a policy because it encourages short and weak passwords. Edit: Updated after developer response. It wouldn’t be so bad if it would at least save the items in your cart…but, nooooo… It makes you completely start over. Will not take my Star card info in the wallet. Not impressed so far. But cmon man — blocking the pasting of my password is *not* a security enhancement. It’s the opposite, as it discourages the use of password managers and complex passwords. That design choice is 10 years out of date. ### 3/5 — Great app, Purchase Bug *2026-06-24, version 1.0.5* Overall, the app is easy to use and very helpful for browsing and managing everything in one place. The layout is simple and intuitive, and I haven’t had any issues navigating it. However, I’ve run into a problem where I’m unable to complete purchases through the app. I always have to switch over to the website to place an order, which makes the process a bit inconvenient. If that issue gets fixed, it would be a great all in one experience. ### 2/5 — Can't navigate *2026-06-22, version 1.0.5* As happy as I am that there's an app, this app is not use friendly at all. Why are the size options not organized logically? Took me a few minutes to find "M" because it was lost in a sea of toddler sizes. Really need to have consumers help reconfigure this app because it makes zero sense. I can neither log in using the iOS nor copy my password into the log in screen. But the login screen for this app won’t allow me to paste manually or via the Apple passwords function. They read my review, acknowledged the issue, and fixed the problem in a short period of time. This is so promising that the app will stay up to date. Why don’t more companies do this? A little dated but simplicity is great in my opinion. That means I depend highly on my password manager. Your app won’t let the app fill in the password or even let me paste it in. This is a non-starter for me.
