This app collects and synchs all of the data into amazon’s data centers. Amazon is infamous for stealing and selling peoples data and if you are going to collect user data and store it in amazons servers, at least don’t advertise it as “data not collected” ### 4/5 — Server error 200 iPhone app *2025-09-18, version 10.16* Also on iMac. At first I was reluctant to pay the annual subscription but realizing year after year how safe and easy it was to use. However recently, I’ve noticed that the app has become increasingly more glitchy and unreliable. It tends to shut itself off during a search and sometimes won’t open at all. I’ve tried reinstalling the app but tends to be a temporary fix, or, not a fix at all. I’ve stored a great deal of data in the app and really trying not to go through the process of painstakingly moving my information elsewhere. In some cases for the logins that I use frequently, I’ve transitioned to the Apple “strong password” feature and abandoned MEO. For what I’m paying annually for the app, my expectations for quality and reliability have also grown in concert with your price increases over time. Once again, I’ll continue to use the app through out the year and evaluate the performance. I’ve not had the time to explore other options and transfer my information. If I continue to experience the instability and glitchy performance, I’ll begin the process before I renew. ### 2/5 — All Notes Disappeared from Ap *2024-11-08, version 10.14.1* In the last few days, (November 2024) all notes in the various sections & entries are no longer visible unless “Edit” is selected. But with the 2024 updated version of MEO, multiple entries of mine have been lost!!!Joe has coached me with emails, tried everything, but nothing has worked to retrieve missing data. I just wrote him in 5th attempt to retrieve much needed usernames and passwords. I gave a bad review, but support worked with me to regain all my passwords. They were very diligent! Even though it took some time to establish I am the owner of the account due to their very tight security measures, which is a very good thing these days, they were able to assist me in syncing my account. This is a terrible situation for me and I warn anyone using this app. ### 1/5 — Bad experience *2024-11-20* For a while everything was OK: nice categories, easy to use and easy to sync with other devices, for a reasonable fee. Then everything turned nasty: the need of an expensive yearly fee to sync, impossibility to add items if you don’t subscribe. etc… Then came the nightmare: after changing the password, all my entries stopped showing contents: everything is DARK. I suspect that the contents is key-encrypted from the password. But reverting to the old password does not help, nor the mails to the support. It’s pain. When I update a record and save it, it reverts to the old password and you lose the new password. Now the app won’t let me save and sync. Update 11/7/2024 They got back with me and corrected the server issue causing this problem.
